Your "question" was absolutely abrasive, rude and clearly was asked in such a way to engage a confrontational response. Just like the "question" you asked in the title of this thread. Your follow up comment on Facebook was equally as obnoxious. It shocks me that you can't see that. I'm sure you probably do but you are rufusing to take personal responsibility for your actions/words since it's always easier to put the blame on someone else. I don't run TPR to put up with horrible rude people. I do it to share the fun and excitement of theme parks. If you don't like the videos we post or don't approve of the captions we write for them, which your "question" clearly implied, don't watch our videos or follow our socials. Last I checked no one is forcing you to watch them. And if someone IS forcing you, and you can get to a keyboard without them seeing, let us know and we will send a rescue squad. We are just here to help.

First of all, I don't know who this is and I don't know what you are even referring to. You give me zero information at all about your inquiry. That being said however, if I had to guess, I'm sure whatever you wrote on Facebook that got you blocked probably had the same obnoxious tone included in this post. My suggestion to you - don't be so abrasive and rude. If you honestly think that coming on our forum and making disparaging comments such as "Commander Trump is that you?" is the correct way to handle any situation, that's where you're mistaken. --Robb

Wow. Thanks for taking the time to write that. Some very interesting points, many of which I agree with, notably... I simply refuse to ride any coaster where I have to put ALL of my stuff into a locker and walk through a metal detector. I don't care what the excuse is, I won't do it. I agree with EVERYTHING in this paragraph. I am *not* a fan of media based rides at all, and I feel like this is pretty much all Universal has offered lately. I feel that, maybe other than Spider-Man, these other attractions are a "one and done" for me. I had such high hopes for Gringott's but after the initial drop, you just fall into another Transformers-like ride, and I feel as though that ride system has so much more capability to it. And I think the last sentence in your paragraph is funny as hell!

I'm sure someone probably has, but you see, for myself, I actually don't really like fish (other than some sushi that I can drown in Wasabi) so it's not going to be something I'll ever try. -
While we haven't gotten a chance to update the 2017 park discounts, the 2016 ones should still apply for the Orlando area parks and they are listed in the Club TPR Forum. I don't want to post them here because in the past we have had people abuse those discounts pretending to be Club TPR Members.

Robb & Elissa in Asia - 2016!

The original park that was supposed to be built in Long Beach also had NO WHERE NEAR the budget of Tokyo DisneySEA. We should be thankful that park never got built. -
I don't understand the stupidity of some people. Why do they post publicly their "plans" to do things like circumvent or manipulate the Facebook community standards guide just to continue to harass us online? How dumb do you have to be? Also, isn't that Robert guy like one of ACE's executive members or something? Not shocked in the least bit...

Robb & Elissa in Asia - 2016!

The next day would bring us to Tokyo DisneySEA which is, without a doubt, my favorite theme park in the world! I cannot think of many parks where no matter where you are standing in the park, if you look in any direction, there is a "photo op" everywhere you look. Not only does it have some of the best Disney attractions ever made (Journey to the Center of the Earth, Tower of Terror, Indiana Jones, Sindbad, Aquatopia, 20,000 Leagues, etc) it's just a cool place to hang out and walk around. Much like Epcot, this is a park I could walk around all day in, not ride anything, and still have an amazing time! And that's probably why DisneySEA is my favorite park in the world and Epcot is second! Anyway, let's get right into some photos.... We have just arrived at Tokyo DisneySEA! The #1, no question, no argument, best theme park in the world! We are about to board the greatest attraction Disney has ever created! Journey to the Center of the Earth! Here is a video of the awesomeness: Lava Monster! 15 years old and still the single best animatronic Disney has ever made! Happiness is holding two FPs for Tokyo DisneySEA before 9:30am! Found this awesome Journey ride vehicle! Never seen these before! Dear Tokyo Disney fans! Does anyone know if they still sell the gyoza that USED to be here somewhere else in the park? (Not the buns) (Sadly we found out this menu changed in January of 2016.) Dear Walt Disney World - Please remove the very dated Twilight Zone theme from Tower of Terror and replace with Shiriki! Thank you! From this location at Tokyo DisneySEA I can see both Mt. Fuji and Mount Prometheus! I love Japan! Yes, today is going to be a "popcorn day!" These mochi ice cream aliens were almost too cute to eat... but they were delicious! : Aquatopia... the most amazing pointless ride ever!!! LOVE IT! We did a 360 video of Aquatopia. You'll probably need to open the link below in your phone in the YouTube app to see it in all it's glory! Out with the bad and in with the Nemo! Bernard and Bianca were out greeting guests! Wish we'd see The Rescuers more often at the US parks! This little ride at Tokyo DisneySEA is better themed than 97% of the roller coasters in America! Another absolutely beautiful themed queue! In the mermaid lagoon area you can find these Tokyo DisneySEA exclusive capsule toys! Here are the many faces of Donald from the capsule toy! Yes... we are in a theme park! Tokyo DisneySEA is celebrating 15 years and we are happy to say we have been here for 11 of them! The ship that was added to the front of the park for the 15th anniversary is pretty awesome! Each Disney character has their own special wish and crystal as part of the 15th anniversary. At the Japanese Mexican place you can get a sombrero Donald made out of rice and tortillas! Amazing!!! We found her! If you ask for the English translation at the Sindbad ride, you get this awesome card telling the story! Which of these Tokyo DisneySEA underwear would you like to have protecting your junk? It's really a coin flip between Curry and Black Pepper for my favorite popcorn flavor! In this two minute clip will show you why we love Sindbad at Tokyo DisneySEA! VOLUME UP!!! [twitter] [/twitter] Our view from Tokyo Disney! Mt. Fuji at sunset! Beautiful! The parks closed early on this night because it's New Years Eve or "Countdown Party" which we will be attending in the next update! CLICK HERE FOR COUNTDOWN PARTY PHOTOS! -

Shanghai Disney Resort Discussion Thread

What's interesting about your report is it seems to be yet another one that is basically "Shanghai Disneyland is all about Pirates & Tron OMG YES!!! And everything is, like, just ok..." This is sort of my takeaway as well. I liked the park as a whole, thought it was really nicely done, but I came away from it thinking Pirates and Tron OMG!!! And the rest of the park was decent. I have to be honest though, as much as I loved Pirates & Tron, the park as a whole didn't make me feel like I need to hurry back there. I'll go again eventually, and most likely when they open up another big attraction that is equal to Pirates or Tron, but unlike Tokyo Disney where I can keep going back there over and over without anything new being added, it just didn't seem to have that same draw for me. -
More examples of how this guy is completely clueless when it comes to the Internet and social media... First of all, we don't own a condo. Second of all there are plenty of other "theme park fansites" that are also on Patreon, for example: WDW Radio: https://www.patreon.com/wdwradio Retro Disney World: https://www.patreon.com/retrowdw Coaster Radio: https://www.patreon.com/coasterradio WDWNT: https://www.patreon.com/wdwnt Sounds to me like someone is just very very jealous! BTW, please support our Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/themeparkreview Thank you!

Why are coaster enthusiasts weird?
robbalvey replied to DBru's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Anyone posting in this thread has insecurity issues. Get over it. Oh and this... This is pretty much 100% accurate. -
And this is exactly what a HUGE population of people think. They honestly think they can come on our privately owned forum or any of our social channels and say whatever the hell they want to, no matter how insulting, now matter how vulgar or disparaging, and then don't understand why their comments get deleted and their account is banned. In summary - there are a lot of stupid people on this planet.

Here, I'll even screen shot right out of our YouTube analytics because we have nothing to hide and it amuses me to showcase how ignorant this person is.... We saw a peak on Saturday, January 14th because that was the Saturday of a holiday weekend. And if you know anything about social media, which I do and this guy doesn't, then you'll know that you always see a peak during those times. Weekends are always usually higher as more people are out of school and out of work. Common sense, really, but not so common for many people. Here's our subscribers for the same time period. Oh, look, there is also a peak over the holiday weekend. Our subs to unsubs ratio is totally normal and our channel has grown at a fairly steady clip for years. Hate to break it to you Rastus but we have NEVER "bought" any views or subscribers. NEVER. And you can not believe that as much as you'd like because that still doesn't change the fact that we have the #1 YouTube channel of the industry BY A HUGE MARGIN no matter what you say! DEAL WITH IT!!!! EDIT: And here is further proof that I didn't "buy" any views, because all our other engagement also follows the same pattern. If I had bought any views or subs than one would spike while the other didn't. But that's not the case. Unless of course I went and I bought views, subs, likes, comments, and everything else. But really, when we are already averaging 300k - 400k views per day over the month, why would it make sense that one weekend I would decide to buy another 150,000 or so views?. What does that even get me? "OH BOY!!!! THIS DAY I MADE 500K VIEWS INSTEAD OF 350K!!! WOW!!!! THAT'S LIKE AN AVERAGE OF 74 VIEWS PER VIDEO!!! PEOPLE ARE REALLY GOING TO TAKE NOTICE NOW!!!!" Yeah, it makes no sense. Actually the only single factor in this whole scenario that DOES make sense is that Rastus is an idiot.
