Scott's Coaster Closet

Boomerangs just don't seem fun to me (along with most Vekomas) but those trains look nice. Good trains can make all the difference. -

Keep it alive....please. I love this thread. I have always thought if someone could afford to build a park where some of these old coasters could go to live on. It just is so sad to see these machines that came from someone's imagination to paper to model to fully built ride. Then because of whatever reason...........there gone. Just sitting there hoping against all hope to have someone ride the rails one more time. Great stuff. -

There's something creepy about looking at old abandoned coasters because when they are full of patrons they are full of life and they seem to have a soul. Then when there are no riders there is no life. It's sad. -

This might be my favorite post ever. I have never seen Ceder Point pics like these. Being a west coaster I have never been to CP I've seen tons of pics. of CP and I've always seen water but I never knew it was SO out on it's own wrapped all around by water. It's a beautiful park. Great update, Great pics, thanks for the effort. Great job. -

I love this stuff. Thanks Shane, I know everyone here loves this as well. Memory lane stuff rules. It seems to be a much slower way to enjoy the parks. -

That would a good place for it to go. It will get all the TLC it needs. -
The waiting sucks. Every time I look out the window, or drive down the road and see Dragster it is very frustrating because you want to ride the rides, but you cant... You want to be able to go to work at the park, and you cant, you want to be able to do things that you simply can not do because the park is closed. The waiting is sooo not cool!! It is a pain, but worth it in the end!!~Matthew Oh I'm sure but the anticipation then the pay off....... I know we have it good out here. Disneyland, Knott's, SFMM all within a short distance of each other. Maybe I would just love to see snow.

Great pics. Out here in Calif. we never have this. With all our parks being open all year around. With the snow you have to wait until spring and that waiting could be kinda cool.

Disneyland is the best hands down. I have always had passes until recently. With a family of 4 I just can't afford them. I ended up getting passes for SFMM and Knott's for less. So it's a "more bang for the buck" kinda thing. We now only do Disneyland around Christmas time now But if you go to the NASCAR race or a Charger game you pay 70$ for a few hours so I think it's fine what they charge. I still remember it being around 35$ a ticket when I first got married. Holy crap I'm getting old!
