So I (daniel) get back home after losing to catholics and beating a bunch of whining jerks at summer volleyball league, last night (7/26/05). I made my way home and I ate food. My sister, Nara just comes home from work.. She asks if she should go to the gym today, and she already went this morning i said no go to sleep. so anyways... She wanted to get an iPod shuffle, so when she goes to the gym she can listen to her music... and apparently there is a sale at Target for 30 dollars of a 1 GB sized shuffle. We go to the nearest target, buy 150 dollars worth of stuff (all the little things seem to add up...), and yet they have no ipod shuffles! gasp, so we press the button that will bring a associate out to assist my sister and I. He comes at "blazing speeds" and starts talking about how the target he works at is a piece of crap and how the phone doesn't work so he cant check the stock out for us at different target.. We head to the newest target, a giant two story target located at a mall.. and they have this coolest escaltor system! the carts have a separted escaltor system.. man this was the time i wish i would have brought a camera! It was super cool, the carts would latch on to a lift hill and the wheels were perch on to level metal sliders, it was awesome.. We checked to see if they had any, and there were none! We trekked to the guy at the counter and they had actual working phones! and they call another target and put one on hold for my sister... and then we drive... farther... fun stuff... We just finished parking at the ghettoest of all targets out in north Long Beach.. and they have a gazillion iPod shuffles.. it was like in and out and spent more money! yay 300 dollars in two hours! while driving back home we talked and concluded that ghetto people cant afford iPod shuffles... maybe thats why they had so many... Well. thats it. we got one. hooray for her. Maybe one night we'll return to target and reenact the situation and we'll take pictures! 1. Red Line - Home to Target #1 2. Cyan Line - Target #1 to Target #2 3. Purple Line - Target #2 to Target #3 4. Pink Line - Target #3 to Home

This is how I conduct my business in the soda pop world... Pepsi - only in a can Coke - only in a glass those are the only times i will drink either.. Hey! My Family used to own a frozen yogurt shop called auggies! from auger/augur (dont remember which, dont care to look it up) which is like a screw machine and mixed all the additional flavors into a base of vanilla or chocolate frozen yogurt... and we also carried sugar free frozen yogurt too for those diabetics...

You should hear about this one gas staion in Long Beach, on PCH and Cherry, gas prices are twice as much as other going for up to 3.699 (highest i've seen it) which is insane because if you just drive another mile west, there's a cheaper chevron. I'll take a picture sooner or later.

Theme Park Review's SFMM Meet & DVD Party!
dsngiem replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'd go, but school has started, and I'll probably devoting my life to finishing AP US History Subject Matter Outlines, which are practical(ly) hell. Oh what fun. I was planning to go August 3rd, though. (maybe we could do group discounts?) -

Then again, i live in a house with 4 incomes to pay for all the bills (mom, sister, sister, sister and in-laws). Yah, 5 years between me and the next youngest sibling.

Disneyland, home to the Tiny Castle
dsngiem replied to dsngiem's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
water + anaheim heat = shrinkage.. therefore the castle is made of cottons, shrink wrap and uh... mud? -
I've never been elsewhere out of California, moreover, Long Beach Area (i dont travel much). And earthquakes are nothing because the hard hitters come every now and then (3-5 years at the least) so no really destruction occurs.. compared to hurricanes down at the panhandle, every year packed freeways (just like LA traffic) and torn roofs windows, meticulous and ridiculous repair doesn't quite whet me appetite. Overall, I am fine here, where in the other parts of California its over 90 and down here in Long Beach, the marine layer and the ocean breezes are what's keep coast dwellers at a comfy 70-80 degrees (until the marine layer burns off, then it gets hotter). Bad thing is, that 1930ish quake in Long Beach, well, that fault is supposed to create a big one every 70 years or so.. its 2005, a bit past predicted, chances slowly increase.... gasp.

i am only thinking, no car and of course no money unless there's a charity group out there who would like to generously donate to this special cause. "any donation, grand or pea-sized are welcome" Daniel "is skeptical, but optimistic" Sngiem -
Pick Your Top 3 "Fanatic" Avatars!
dsngiem replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Difficult to choose, I decided to not pick any of mine (so others can vote), it's not clever, but a few things I intensely am infatuated with. (that may be a bit fabricated...) 1 robbalvey, (its basically obligatory) 2 memphish, (breeding is absolutely fun) 3 dsngiem #1 (wait, what did i say?) i had to, homestarrunner is too cool to not be included. -
