Nice TR. I was hoping I could go to BGE's opening day but I couldn't get off work so I'm going April 13 during my Spring Break.

El Toro

Only 6 more days after today I plan on running to El Toro myself as my first coaster of the 2009 season! Maybe we will see each other there, I plan on wearing my TPR shirt though it may be covered by a jacket depending on the weather. I'm so excited!!! You will also see 4 other TPR members since I will be meeting some people I met on the Behemoth/Ravine Flyer II tour there. I just checked the weather (everyone hope it stays this way) & it is predicted that it will be 61F & mostly sunny skies I will be wearing a black TPR zip up hoodie & here is a picture of me, my name is Matt by the way:

Nice TR! For using a Blackberry your pictures turned out pretty good. So these new boomerang trains really did make a difference!? Vekoma still needs to improve their SLC trains because Fly the Great Nor' Easter still is rough & crappy to me

^Thanks for the info. I'll hopefully be there either way since it is the only time that week I should have off from work if my work sticks to my current schedule.

I'm not sure how crowded the place will be over spring break. I don't work on Fridays but I'm sure the place isn't that crowded.

Awesome TR! I had to move my trip to BGE until April 13 ( during my Spring Break) & can't wait to get back down there. Do you no how the crowds might be that week & if the new kiddie will be open then?

Vegetables are good for you & all but if your a vegan than you are limited to certain foods & I like to eat so I could never be a vegetarian or vegan. I don't care if people are vegetarians or vegans but we can't have an over population of animals running around so it is a good thing in my opinion that we eat some of them. Why don't vegans eat eggs, milk, or cheese?

I would want the Knoebels Phoenix. That woodie is amazing & the airtime is unbelievable!

I still have 8 more days to go until I ride Nitro at GADV. I can't wait any longer!

^Opening day was JAM PACKED! I suggest going during the week. Yesterday the place was almost empty I'm not sure about Monday or Tuesday but someone told me not a lot of people were there. On weekends there are lots of birthday parties which is a main crowd factor also Jon Runyan will be there Saturday so don't come then. I have work today & I'll let you no how crowded it is when I get back.

Here are the people that I know: 16, 47 (its Robb!), 51, 52, & 53.

Expedition G-Force

^I here this all the time at GADV. GP: "Do you no that someone fell out of Kingda Ka? That is why the ride closed for so long a few years ago." It makes me laugh every time I here it & I have to tell them that no one fell out of that ride it was a problem with the catch car. They always look puzzled & ask whats a catch car & then I end up explaining to them how the ride works & that the catch car failed during a test run & that nobody was hurt.

^I'm not sure that the new Medusa will be open that weekend or not I thought is is opening Memorial Day Weekend. As for the coasters you must ride: Nitro, El Toro, Kingda Ka, & Scream Machine (I enjoy it). We have a fairly large selection of coasters but those 4 are the ones I recommend. As for S:UF I'm not a big fan of it. The seats are uncomfortable & the ride is short. Batman: The Ride is a clone so if you rode one you rode them all. Rolling Thunder is boring, painful & has no airtime & is slow to dispatch. The Runaway Mine Train is relaxing nothing special. Skull Mountain is just a bunch of turns, & if you are a credit whore ride the kiddies. Ride Kingda Ka first then do El Toro since they are most likely to break down. Dark Knight is just a standard mouse in a box so only ride it if the line is not longer than an hour. As for the boys & girls scout events GET A FLASH PASS! They are worth every penny & since your out of state & it will be your first time here (I'm assuming) then it will be very useful & you will be able to get on everything. I hope this helps now I won't be going there that weekend because of the scout event
