Awesome TR! I said hi to you I think while walking out of the Golden Kingdom to go ride GASM. To bad Nitro valleyed. I had a feeling Kindga Ka wasn't going to open & wasn't surprised. I'm hopefully going back on Friday so Nitro & Kingda Ka better be open.

Trip 1: Six Flags Great Adventure April 4, 2009 After 21 weeks & 1 day of the cold, long, & boring off-season the wait is over Today is opening day at GADV & I couldn't wait to get back on a coaster. Besides half of the park's coasters being closed for most of the day, the day ending pretty good. I met Big Mike along with a few other TPRers & I also met up with & spent the day with my friends Matt, Matt, & Chris who I met on the Behemoth/Ravine Flyer II trip last year. Enjoy the pics! I'm so happy my season can finally begin! Open the park already! I hope Nitro can be my first coaster of 2009. Most unfortinately Nitro valleyed because of the high winds we had & was closed all day For the first time ever Batman: The Ride was my first coaster ride in 2009! Matt got his 100th credit on Skull Mountain, which we rode 10x today because of the awesome airtime you get in the back seat First marathon of the year! Dark Knight was down so lets head over to S:UF. Wait that is down as well? GASM is working we can ride one of my favorite Arrows! Guess who we met on the way to the broken El Toro...Big Mike Big Mike did you get the pics I emailed to you? The airtime less & slow to dispatch Rolling Thunder. For a pic taken with my phone not bad. Yay El Toro decided to open today Time to pay for an over priced lunch. OMG only $3.18 total Yes the button apparently for the chicken & fries was broke (like everything else today) so all I had to pay for was my drink! This pic was taken with my HD camera after a nice relaxing ride on Runaway Mine Train. What is that I see in the distance? BIZARRO! I think the new paint job is awesome. I can't wait to ride this soon. Dark Knight finally opened. Nothing special. GASM again. We waited only 20 minutes for S:UF. Another pic taken with my phone! Me & Matt rode Skull Mountain 6x in a row with out getting off. One time we were the only two on the ride! We ended our day on El Toro for the 3x. I ended up getting 21 Runs total today which is more than I expected. I can't wait for my next trip which will probably be back at GADV on Friday so I can hopefully ride Nitro & Kingda Ka. My season is finally here! Since Nitro was closed because it valleyed, Batman: The Ride was my first coaster of the year at GADV.

Great Hershey update Brent! That Lightning Racer Ert was one of my favorite Ert sessions of the trip.

Awesome first TR of the year Big Mike! As for Saturday I will be there as well I can't wait for my season to finally start. The weather is looking good, 61F sunny with some wind. I'm actually meeting some TPR members there for a full day of fun! Where are you heading first Big Mike El Toro? I'll be heading straight for Nitro but I'll keep an eye out for you. I'll be wearing a black TPR zip hoodie & I'll also be carrying around my cameras. See you Saturday!

The worst coaster I've ever ridden thankfully is no longer standing. Viper that was at GADV was the worst coaster that I've ever ridden. I only rode it once & am glad it got replaced by El Toro.

I'm looking forward to riding the new Medusa at GADV. I hope the theming & special effects are as good as they said. It is Six Flags so I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't all that great.

My favorite amusement park food is definitely Knoebels. They have great pirogies as well as grilled chicken & the usual theme park menu. Not to mention their food isn't over priced like Six Flags parks
