  1. ^ According to my logs, you didn't upload anything, make sure that you click the Upload button and once uploaded, the page will change to show you a link for your file and a preview of it, if it is a picture. Hope that helps.
  2. Hey Loopy, I have an uploader on my server that is easy to use and the connection is pretty fast to boot. Anyway, if you want, and this goes for all of you TPR folk out there, just sign up, quick and easy, and upload away, up to 50MB. If you need additional space, drop me an email (in my profile) or a PM and let me know what you need. http://www.daocplace.com/tng/uploader Have fun. -Juancarlos "I am not pimping my site, just helping out the community" Aponte
  3. Most painful, Viper at SFGAdv. Most fun, first time I rode Nitro at SFGAdv/S:RoS at SFNE. Kingda Ka, sure it was hellaciously great, and despite my hands and face being numb for an hour after getting off, I just felt better on the hypers.
  4. Since when WDW have a skyride? Good video though.
  5. Wait, since I got two strands...does that mean it's $10?
  6. Wow, Holiday World is definitely on the list for Road Trip 2006!
  7. momo states the truth. SFA was definitely one of the most ghetto, most grimy parks I have ever been to. Sure, the entrance is all good and nice but once you get beyond that, it's just atrocious. Both the patrons and the park staff were terrible. We went up to a water slide and me and my friend looking at each other and at the same time said "Shouldn't there be someone up here?" There was no lifeguard no ride op, no one! A father came up with his son and proclaimed the same exact thing. We shrugged it off, waited a good 30-45 seconds between each other and went down. Once at the bottom, we explained to the lifeguard that was down there the situation at the top and he was simply said "oh, ok, thank you." Later on, we saw a few supervisors running around Hurricane Harbor and over the radios you could hear what appeared to be the head honcho yelling "How the hell did this happen?" Needless to say, someone got up there pretty quick, uh...I mean, they closed the ride. As for the patrons, there are no words. So yeah, out of the parks that I've been to (not many), SFA ranks at the bottom. Oh yeah, let me add a picture of my wonderful day at SFA to show you the great ride ops at work. Ride op, locked and secured inside the train.
  8. You got it Elissa. Check will be in the mail tonight!
  9. So after reading all the reports of people receiving their DVDs, I came back from my History recitation and ran downstairs to the mailbox. Waiting for me was a nice little package slip...large envelope. I ran back upstairs to the front desk and traded the slip for my large envelope. I barely made it back into my room before the package was ripped open, contents removed and discs placed into my XBox and played. Here's a little photo TR which starts from when I entered my room. I must say I am pleased with what I got, still need to watch Discs Two and Three though. -Juancarlos "This stuff is pee in your pants funny!" Aponte Once settled in, I sat down to watch Disc One, hilarious! Upon closer inspection of shirt, it was apparently personalized twice by both Robb and Elissa! =D 3 Discs and Me!! Just looking at them makes me all warm inside! Dan gets it on with Thunder Dolphin, I get it on with Coaster Expedition Volume 6! From the rear, haha, rear! Me sporting the new personalized white TPR shirt! Thumbs up (Note the hitchhiker's thumb) Me with the package sporting my ambigram sweatshirt. (Rotate the picture 180 degrees to check validity of ambigram, sorry for blur) Elissa has some long hair! What's this? Elissa personalized my package with...her hair. I will cherish this forever and ever!!
  10. That's really interesting. It's good to see that there are many others besides Snyder who are showing their interest towards buying Six Flags.
  11. First of all: awesome pictures. Second: Ever seen massive back AND armpit hair? Yeah, didn't think so? My eyes had to be washed out as if I had gotten hydrochloric acid in them.
  12. If only this were for the 2006 season, now that would make my day (aside from finishing my english paper ).
  13. tinhead, that was an awesome video! It was so complete.
  14. At first (when i was younger than 12), I was just scared of the loops and bigger drops, but I just said, I don't want to go on it, no one forced me to. Eventually, I said to myself, "Got to stop being chicken," went on Great American Scream Machine at Six Flags Great Adventure, and well, now I am riding just about everything I come across. As for flat rides, I am not a fan of spinning rides, and just recently, I've started to enjoy drop rides. So yeah, basically, just suck it up, and force yourself on the ride, you'll enjoy it (sans Vekomas) and you'll love the rides from thereon.
  15. Those turnarounds...oh dear! They look amazing. Can't wait to see this ride in its entirety. Hopefully out comes a good POV?
  16. Hey clpfan, I am also an engineering student and am just wondering what you are doing with this "design and operation of amusement control systems." -Juancarlos "Just curious about your work" Aponte
  17. Just curious, did you invest in a DVD duplicating machine or are you going old school with single burners and printed labels?
  18. Planning an almost two week road trip (could be two weeks) with my friends. (Maybe) Morey's Piers Six Flags Great Adventure Dorney Park Knoebel's Hershey Park Kennywood Park Geauga Lake Cedar Point Paramount's Kings Island Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Holiday World (Pending overall tiredness)Paramount's Kings Dominion (Given PKD visit)Busch Gardens Williamsburg (Given BGW visit)Six Flags America And, hopefully a few times, Paramount's Carowinds since I'll be in Chapel Hill till May and then be back for sophomore year.
  19. The day is here the day is here!!! Robb, go ship!! EDIT: Robb, you deleted my post of proof of your lies! It's ok, I can wait...Tick tock tick tock.
  20. Hey Robb, can you put up some descriptions for Discs 2 and 3 so that I can salivate some more before I get my DVD? Just thinking about it shipping on Saturday with my donkey shirt makes me a happy panda.
  21. Why must Australia be a day away...on a plane! Ugh.
  22. At least there is grass on the field, so play ball! They were at least nice enough to put some grass under Superman unlike with Scream!.
  23. Viper (SFGAdv). Wow. Just wow.
  24. Great video but it would've been enhanced if the complete ride was put in, complete with the horrible kerchunk noises at the end. I like the "1983-2005" bit.
