DVD Release Party & SFMM Event! Jan 19th
vedved82491 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Nope! If you want to know what's discussed...you'll need to go to the event! How do you expect a 16 year old from Arizona to get there?!?!?! Perhaps a preview? Even if I could, I can't. I'm taking this landmark education course all weekend...40 hours of sitting on my a$$...at least it means Cedar Point in the summer! When you take the course you will find that there is no such thing as can't. There is only do, or do not. It's a choice. If we're talking about the same Landmark course. You will understand what I mean provided you choose to go it insted of the TPR party. Yeah yeah I know. My mom filled me in on the mind boggling details. I even went to the preview thing. In truth I was just joking. I just wanted to know whether or not he'd post the Q&A. Now I'm just ranting. -

What's the greater possibility? One day returning it to full(er) speed, or just trashing the whole thing? Also, does anyone have any promo footage or early footage of S:TE? I've always wanted to see videos of both cars going/making it further up the tower. I have this Thrill Rides 2003 thingy I taped a few years ago that has some footage from Travel channel, but I'm just wondering if anyone here as any.

I'm a bit lazy to do the research, but what was the second removed coaster? I know Shockwave was removed and Steel Phantom was modified. -

Ugh, NO. Sorry to sound mean, but that's just the way it's gotta be. Viper is one of the arrow 7 loopers created. Bat was an arrow suspended coaster...two completely different coaster types designed by the same company...and similar color schemes. That was honestly...dare I say it...a dumb question. -
I disagree about the lack of TLC. I think it gets TLC, just in a different manner. The Deja Vu and Jetstream rumor: I don't get why Jet Stream would have any connection with Deja Vu going as they aren't even close. Other reasons would lead to JS's removal but nothing with the proximity of Deja Vu. Deja as we know it is safe for now. Closing the back end: I doubt it will happen. First of all, guests will complain about having to walk up and down a hill to reach a spot in the park (or even walking back around all the way). Second, it's not like MM is never getting a coaster again. That would be a prime spot for a new coaster in a few years, whether it be big or small. Hell even a nice mega flat would be nice. Flashback's spot: I understand why people want it to be part of HH, but I've heard from people that they've wanted that spot turned into the new Entrance for HH. I don't understand how that would work, as (I believe) you'd have to walk through the park gates before going to the HH gates, and I don't think they plan on making HH free admission. If you understand where I'm going with this, I'm saying they would need to figure out a way for people to enter the park free and then get to the entrance of HH without paying (this could lead people to say they're going to HH and just continue staying in the park...free of charge). A tad confusing eh? I say if anything, turn it into a water slide area or something, as much as I'd like it to stay part of the park.

^More like people who think they know it all, or perhaps this just copied and pasted information on there. Intamin? Haha, Revolution would put Intamin to shame, but being as it is a Schwarzkopf, it's understandable. Blahhhhhhh. I wish Theme park pages were harder to edit and less available to the GP.

I'm still hopin' for my my Giant Frisbee dreams! Now coming back to reality, before SFMM can get extreme flats, they actually need...well flats, and updated ones at that. BY THE WAY: Who is good with Wikipedia and Six Flags Magic Mountain history? Whoever input the information on the current SFMM Wiki page is nuts. I tried editing some stuff but I don't want to mess things up. I've only read the Sarajevo Bobsleds, Shockwave, and Flashback bits and there are a lot of things wrong there, so if anyone wishes to fix it please do. It's rather annoying.

Arizona Adventures RCT2 park
vedved82491 replied to the ghost's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Ouch. This kinda makes Arizona look bad. For starters, drop the ugly cartoon like paths. Very unrealistic. It looks like people are walking on a a rug of some sort. Stick to a specific theme, and then build off from there. That means don't have halloween themed, then just jump into snow. By the way, when people think Arizona, snow isn't the first thing that comes onto their mind, so perhaps go for a more desert type theme, with water rides, or something more woody. Custom scenery is key in making realistic parks. Just a couple pointers really. Oh also, make sure your coasters are realistic. 400+ foot Freefall coasters...yeaah not so much. Go for something simpler for now, and we'll get into detail later.
