From the picture it looks like the cabin didn't flip over. It got stuck and than when the wheel continued to move it went on its side and this is the point when the riders fell out of the side window.

From what I read I understand the car didn't fall down, but rolled over somehow while the ride was on and people just fell out of the window. It sounds worst than a lame horror movie script.

You can use your hands holding the bars and by this support your upper body.

WOW the ferris wheel looks amazing. I never seen such a ride and it looks so special.

For a Vekoma Boomerang it will be horrible m with no support to the upper body. I can see major neck probelms ....

I know there is no comfort for the victims family but it could be much worst if the gondola would crashed on another ride or into the crowds.

It looks like the park was empty that day. Anyway great pics and I think this celebration is really cool idea.

Start with a simple loop. California screamin will be a good start I guess as the loop is not the main issue of this coaster and it's not such a big loop. You will be surprised and maybe disappointed about what it feels like. You will be 100% ok.

2 people died after one of the gondolas on the Booster giant swing ride fell to the ground. 2 other rides seriously injured. This accident happened Saturday evening at the Fete Des Loge near Paris. I could not find any information in English but what I understood is that the ride is called Booster which is 40 meters giant swing ride. One of the 2 gondolas left the main arm of the ride and hit the ground. Both victims are father and son from the same family. I guess a French member will give us some more information about what went wrong.

This hotel looks amazing and I usually dON'T like hotels too much.

I rode 2 Vekomas SLC'S : the first is in Walibi Belgium and it was hell !!! Rough and almost made me cry from neck pain I got. The second SLC is in Israel and it's so much better you can enjoy it. Vekoma wooden coaster are good : the one in Belgium and the one in Holland are very comfortable. Actually I can describe the one in Walibi World - smooth.

I don't know why but I feel that Vertigo is just wrong. Maybe it because it took them ages to test and test and fix all the problems, but I keep thinking about the chances of two cars colid. I don't belive in this coaster. But this is just me and maybe some of my anxiety disorder raising her head.

I wouldnt survive 10 minutes in a Top Scan or this other swing ride.

Tes, Drop Zone is NOT a drop ride it's a Top Scan or Top Buzz.

I am a big fun of this guy site about ride movies from Europe. He's so into it that he just made a world record riding a Drop Zone ride (Top Buzz) for 10 years. You should send a complaint along and the dirt pics you took to SF headquaters. Something is really wrong in this park and I guess they don't know about it.
