    Today I hade a early errand in Göteborg and with the sunny Easter weather I took this photo from my usual spot. High resolution photo Liseberg also announced a competition that you can sign up for... The competition: Four teams will compete under 120 minutes to ride the 4 big rollercoasters (Lisebergbanan, Balder, Helix & Valkyria) in the park (a SuperFour).     The new trains is built from the specifications of the original blueprints. The old break system is still there, because there is no space to mount magnetic breaks on the train and Stengel designed the ride experience like this I forgot to ask if they have upgraded the control system on Lisebergbanan. /// Marcus

    I made a visit to Liseberg yesterday and got some new photos of the preparation before the summer opening: The boat in the harbor is getting refurbish Polketten is getting a sound system upgrade And a control room The entrance to Balder got a upgrade New trains The station of Lisebergbanan is getting a big upgrade The walkway from the main entrance is getting a "upgrade" due to the tunnel they are building in the city The new rabbit theater Hamnkrogen is also getting a remodeling The construction of the new parking space continues /// Marcus

    If you read the Lisepedia page for Lisebergbanan, it says that the manufacturer is Zierer Karussell und Fahrzeugfabrik.     Went past Liseberg today. The demolish of buildings due to the construction if a train tunnel "Västlänken" under the city has begun. The sporting arena Liseberghallen is first to be demolish, the main entrance, Rondo and a parking garage is up next. Liseberg is also demolishing other building to make space for a parking garage due to the construction of the hotell/adventure water land that will occupies the parking space south of Liseberg. The demolishing of Lisebergshallen has started Space for a new parking garage They will remove the Christmas star from AtmosFear tomorrow /// Marcus

    Yesterday I finally got the time to visit Christmas @ Liseberg. I missed the opening due to a visit to Australia and after that the weekends has been to occupied.... It would have been a perfect visit with clear skies and the temperature just below zero °C, but the park was full of visitors. I got some photos before the batteries was flat (forgot to charge them after my trip to Down Under), after that I hade to use my mobile.. Balder & Valkyria was in operation and both was running fast in the cold weather. On to the photos: New edition of the Christmas tree Going down......     Have some new photos from last Saturday, but they are still in the camera and I'm currently @ Singapore Airport. Liseberg release that Halloween @ Liseberg had 320 000 visitors (new record) and to 2020 they will expand the Kaninlandet. /// Marcus
