Not to steer this TR off course, but people ALWAYS complain about the lines at Disney parks but I have NEVER EVER seen ANYTHING like these lines there... besides openings. Anyway, overall good tr. Unfortunately this doesn't really surprise me as every time I go to Knotts(besides WCB) the ops are moving very slowly and even at WCB the rides pretty much all closed due to rain. It seems to me that on opening day there must be some kind of exception... I mean, thats just insane to close that many rides. ^ NICE FIND!!!!

^You're right. At Knott's they pretty much said besides minor retracking ghost riders staying as is. It seems weird more parks aren't jumping on this. Rattler is apparently running smoother and stuff like that, but no major cedar fair announcement yet. That being said... I cant remember the last time Cedar Fair rebranded a ride or changed one or anything like that. It just doesn't seem to be their style imo.

Did anyone care much about this one anyway? I mean... we were wanting it for "worlds fastest" but it never had a great layout like Rosa or anything... just looking at the videos I was thinking "that looks fast" but it just doesn't look like much fun besides the launch.

Augh... this so makes me wish I hadn't had work yesterday and gone to gum-ball rally. I'm sure I'll be there next year.

It scared the hell outta me, lol. I sm probably the only jumpy horror fanatic out there, but despite seeing TONS of Horror Movies I am still a very easy scare. ^ Thor was good. Check the happiness pie thread... the best thing ever happened and I think you'll like it.

Ewww... not a fan of coasters with inconsistent color schemes... even if they do get rid of the white why not just make it green? Besides that it looks pretty fun, but this sorta reminds me of Dominator how the largest loop is painted, but its not too far from the main scheme. This is just weird, and it would be somewhat acceptable if it was just the loop green, but the corkscrew=not a fan of the yellow.

Jealous of people in the park today... Cat Cora was there apparently and she apparently is awesome and let people take pictures with her. She's not my favorite Iron Chef, but still pretty damn awesome. Back to Disney stuff. Random sources seem to think that as of the end of this weekend the "soft opening" period will begin over the weekend, but are likely to start randomly next week. I wonder if they will do something when soundsational soft opens? That makes sense to me... but not for sure or anything. I have heard GREAT things from people on twitter, though... so I am VERY excited!

Good write up! I kinda wish I enjoyed this a little more in terms of the ride itself... I just don't find it too impressive in general. I mean, a boat ride does not need to be a crazy thrilling to be an awesome attraction, such as jungle cruise, but this just looks kinda boring in general. I mean, I understand it's a kids ride, but there was no wow factor, which would have been acceptable if this wasnt A. Such a big ride for the park(you even referred to it as an E ticket and B. The fact that it took soooooo long to make this attraction. I mean, I have no "issue" with the ride... just a little underwhelming IMO.

The place reeks of marijuana smoke... it wasnt me... I swear! This is so amazing... it's kinda like watching a movie. Historically I know what happens next, but I am looking forward to your take on it. You're an amazing park maker, Grrt!

Awesome awesome awesome... although never in my life have I loved Monte so much after reading this article... were so fortunate to have it. I gave it some love @ WCB a few months ago and damn, these rides totally rule!

As of now this is the gold standard for RCT3! Wow... never seen so much detail put into one project... this is beautifully stunning!

Me and a friend were at the animation academy at DCA in the sorcerers workshop. I chose to see which Villain I would be and I got Hades. He wanted to see what hero he would be and he got Herculese. We then had a fake epic battle, kinda like the ending of dinner for smucks where he threw air punches and occasionally lightning bolts for some reason and I kept yelling "TITANS ATTACK!" we got weird looks, but oh so fun. Also once I got buzz lightyear on the same thing to see which hero I would be. When the result came in I extended my arms and yelled "to infinity and beyond" and ran out with my friend bellowing "BUZZ... YOU'RE FLYING!"

Just dont mention bents...

As a Disney nerd I found out that the boys... the Sherman Brothers story was on netflix. As a disney nerd I am also giving it 10/10! Awesome film about 2 musical geniuses. Highly recommend it if you have netflix as its on instant.

Awesome pictures... I'm hoping more Boomerangs get new trains, cause otherwise they kinda are universally known for sucking. At WCB Robb asked "who wants to win a piece of boomerang" or something like that and no one cheered at all, despite the fact that we cheered for every other item he showed... good times.

This looks like such a fun time. Hopefully I am doing my first D23 event this year as well... but I am poor, so just one day at the 2011 expo for me. I'd love something like this, though.

Wow... this place... weird ass theming. This seems kinda like a "never in america" park despite the fact that the rides seem relatively safe.
