I am very sorry for the family and am not saying that I don't feel bad for the kid. What made me angry was the fact that this was not mentioned in the article. The 4-year-old Zucker was riding in the car with his mother, Victoria, when he leaned down to pick up an item and was swept under the car, where he remained trapped for 10 minutes. He suffered brain damage and has not been able to walk or talk since the accident. from hometown news. The injury was not the parks fault as the article made it out to be, if I remember correctly the boy dropped a stuffed animal and tried to get it, resulting in him being pulled under the car. I am going to cut the kid some slack because he was 4 years old, but the mother did nothing. He was swept under the car for god's sake, how could that have happened if the mom was responsible, this ride reaches a top speed of like 6 miles per hour. Again I'm not trying to be mean, and I feel terrible for the family and the kids friends, but in my mind the article was more bashing Disney and a perfectly safe ride. This would never have happened if the mom had paid more attention. What do you guys think?

I really could care less about our Timber Mountain log ride at Knott's. I love the ride, but it is so poorly maintained, and the mountain looks so out of place I would almost rather have another coaster. Knotts charm is long gone, and keeping their two oldest most charming rides is adding insult to injury. Due to my location I am kind of a log flume whore, because I will always have a nice wooden stick to sit in on splash mountain, which is not going anywhere anytime soon.

^ She's so lucky, she has more credits than me, and I'm 15 years older her. I can hopefully go on a trip next summer if your doing a US trip. The family is probably going to Africa for 2 months for the church building trip with my church. I have college starting in September, and my parents wont be back until October. I am getting a job so awesome. BTW if you are 18 you're good on everything besides drinking, which I have never done besides a glass of whine at my friends Bar Mitzvah.

To be fair SF seems to be getting better. TDK is well themed, andTerminator may have some nice theming. This ride looks great.

Wow, Just Wow. I am in awe. I wish we had gotten a Disney Sea instead of DCA, oh well, a park of that caliber would have never fit. The weirdest part of this TR for me was comparing our tour(DCA) to the Disney Sea tower. The one at DS makes ours look totally ghetto, and tower is probably the parks nicest looking ride after Grizzly. Awesome TR so far with some awesome pictures.

I thought you would be right, but at Mayhem last year there were a lot of people in their thirties all the way up to their sixties. Also, we are not an overly religious family,and I'm not a rebel. I just like metal.

I have begun to frequently listen up to in the loop, and they are having an awesome thing called fan choice awards. In the awards enthusiasts make up categories and if it gets 3 votes of agreement people vote on it. Clint jokingly said he should cross link this with TPR, but we are members of the most hilarious coaster forum ever, so come up with categories. You have to register, but its easy, and maybe if this thread gets enough attention Robb can get some awesome categories up involving Hello Kitty or Japanese Vibrating Aliens.

^ Its all a matter of opinion. A B&M standup(Riddler's Revenge) is number 3 on my coaster list very closely after Tatsu and Apollo's Charriot. I would personally love to see a stand up built. Also, it would surprise me if it was a sit down as I was not hearing awesome reviews of Zeppelin. I have a theory( a huge stretch) but it seems Wild Adventures may get a new coaster. They are now owned by Herschend and they have no no B&Ms at Dollywood, but there is one at Silver Dollar City(owned by Herschend, correct me if I'm wrong) and Wild Adventures is kind of run down, it seems like a possible fit, although I am thinking outside the box.

^ Ewww, those are terrible. I should know, that's easily my most ridden invert and one of the three rides at Knot's I am able to marathon without getting a headache. Knot's sucks!

Thanks for your honesty, It really began more as an experiment but I liked the finished product for some reason. I am still pretty new for NL(4th track ever made) and have never created custom inversions besides loops, and that was my first ever custom support work. I was really just trying to master the basics(no major forces, straight life, nothing that strange) I was realy trying to make it more unique than real, but my next coaster( a woodie) will be much more realistic.

Happy Chinese New Year, I come from a very cultural part of California and there are many people of Asian descent around here(mostly Korean) but there is a huge party tonight and there was a party at my school from the Throughout Asia Club.

I live 15 minutes from Disneyland and have never has Dole Whip. Am I missing some life changing experience here. I'm getting the feeling I am going to have a life changing moment or revelation when I finally eat one. Awesome TR so far guys, this is hilarious.
