This park has been rumored to be closing for ever now it seems. I know it was a rumor back in 2006 when we were in Chicago for our Honeymoon.

I was told during a Construction Tour of Prowler at Worlds Of Fun That GCI is ahead of schedule on Prowler and they were still planning on flying in some guys from the Germany Project and the Terminator site. They are also moving to 7 day Work weeks. I assume thats to try and Avoid the Kansas City ICE Storms. That might be why there is a slight hold up out west. We were also told that GCI uses a different Concrete Mix which cures in a little over 24 hours. Which means it should not sit for weeks after it is poured unless they are having Problems else where.

Yay! My home park. If you are ever in Omaha again let me know I might be able to get on the Go Gator at Fun Plex. To bad I had to check off Nebraska at Worlds of Fun instead of joining you at Fun Plex that day.

Yes Big Mike. You need to hit up Worlds Of Fun again for Coaster Mayhem 2009 to ride Prowler!

That Giant Jack in a Box must have been purchased in Bulk by Cedar Fair. Worlds of Fun got one this year as well. I hope to get out to Cali one of these years.

I have live in Omaha all 24 years of my life and have never been to Skateland Playdaze. I actually never knew they changed the name to Skatedaze under the new ownership. Looking forward to Fun Plex Mike and my Cameo on the BIG Mike Road Trip to check off Nebraska. To bad I didn't check out the thread before you visited I would of played Hooky to come hang out with ya. Oh well I met up with ya at Coaster Mayhem instead.

I'm 22 and making my first trip to Orlando in less then a week now. The person who put the list of parks Kidtums has been to up left off Arnold's Park and Valleyfair. She has beat me too. Enjoy the rest of your trip.

May be I just checked RCDB and the only thing they have posted differently is Timberwolf is 1 MPH faster TW 53MPH and Renegade 52MPH. I dunno oh well. I can't wait to ride Renegade no matter what.

I am glad I am not the only one thinking that from the video. My wife who isn't into Coasters much saw the video and said "finally a Coaster I can ride". Why on Valleyfair's website are they estimating the riders per hour so low. Timberwolf at Worlds of Fun is slower at 45 MPH and longer track wise and time wise (4,230 Ft and 2 mins 13 seconds) but their riders per hour 55 more riders an hour. Timberwolf RPH 905 Renegade RPH 850 Timberwolf Hieght 100 ft Renegade Hieght 104 ft Timberwolf Drop Hieght 95 ft Renegade Drop Hieght 91 ft Timberwolf Length in Ft 4,230 Renegade Length in Ft 3,113 Timberwolf Length in minutes 2 minutes 13 seconds Renegade Length in minutes 2 Minutes Timberwolf Top Speed 45 MPH Renegade Top Speed 52 MPH Really similar in most regards just thought the Rider Per Hour would be closer. The reason I compared these 2 is because WOF is my home park and there is a rumor they will be getting a GCI in 2008 or 2009 in time for CoasterCon 2009. With these 2 rides being so similiar I don't see them building another Renegade at WOF. Meaning if this rumor is true GCI will again top it in a couple years. They will most likely not build something so similar to Timberwolf, because even though the enthusiast think Renegade is much better. The genral public which is who the parks make most of their money from will see the numbers and think it's pretty much the same ride as Timberwolf. Regardless I can not wait to ride Renegade. I also can't wait to see what comes of the WOF rumor.

Carnage it will depend weather Cedar Fair plans on keeping the ride they are smoothing out Timberwolf at Worlds of Fun. I will let you all know how well that is coming along after Coaster Mayhem later this month when I get to ride it.
