  1. Great TR coasterkid! Thank you! Please keep us updated on that construction at CW!!
  2. You so ROCK! These are fantastic photos. (If you look closely to the last picture posted it looks like the guy without any hair has long flowing hair... hee hee). Thank you so much for wonderful pictures and a wonderful TR!
  3. That is the funniest TR I have ever seen. Great job...especially loved the "Rainbows" that y'all just "happened" to find! Great stuff. Hope to see you on the Texas Trip next year!
  4. Great TR! Awesome pictures. I cannot wait to go on one of these trips. I loved the Teddy Bear Picnic video...very nice!
  5. Wow...you really capture the moments in your sketches. Great job! I feel like I was there!! Awesome job! MORE!!
  6. Holy crap...I was not even there and I can totally picture the slide story...(I am still laughing as I type this). I am sure the people on the actual raft thought they were going to die (thank god they did not). Glad y'all had a good time. Looking forward to next year's trip because I WILL BE THERE!!!!
  7. Great TR and awesome pictures! The "no crowd surfing sign" made me LOL! Thank you for sharing.
  8. I agree, even though it sounds like it is going to fall apart, it is so much fun and disorienting!
  9. I was there about a month ago and it is quite a layout over between Sledgehammer and The Italian Job. You can see my construction pictures here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=37830&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=20 just scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. They are also going to build it over a water feature which has currently been blocked off in sections. We actually saw a park official walking by with 2 construction supervisors (see the guys in the pictures) when we were in the queue for The Italian Job. We asked what it was and he just smiled and said "I really don't know..." YEAH RIGHT!
  10. Thank you for the updates on this incredible coaster. I will have to get to Houston and check it out once it opens! Great pictures and videos! Keep them coming!
  11. I have been following your thread...thanks to all for great pictures and videos (feels like I am there). Did it open?
  12. Thank you for the great update! I have always wanted to try a "toboggan" but now I am rethinking, it looks painful... Kudos for Robb for another update!!
  13. Awesome TR! Thank you for sharing your pictures and stories!
  14. Agreed! Also, one of my favorites is SpiderMan at IOA! I love a good mondial like Psyclone at Canada's Wonderland or Maxx Air at CP.
  15. Great TR! Thank you for sharing your photos with us!
  16. Awesome TR so far...glad y'all are having so much fun! Keep those updates coming! Thank you for the great pictures!
  17. Yes we had special permission. I have decided to lock this thread for a while so some of the complaining will settle down. I will post more mini-updates later and I may re-open the thread then. These mini-updates are not something I have to do but something I enjoy doing. After reading through the responses I think taking a break from them is needed. --Robb I am sad that most people on this forum cannot enjoy the hard work that Robb does so we can "virtually" travel with the group. Robb - I totally understand where you are coming from, even if I am still sad For those of you who are whiners, you may want to take a look at this video: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=420417#420417 'Nuff said.
  18. The mondial rocked (except you only get one full swing)...the amount of air you get was incredible! I was talking more about their Top Scan and Splashover. Now I understand...Their Topscan rocked (Shockwave) There are pictures of it and it was a way more intense ride than I thought it would be. The most intense part was when you would be straight up in the air and then just hang there after your car was flipping over and over...great! My friend was begging to go on it and then could hardly walk afterwords. The outermost seat on this thing is where to sit! The Splashover (Cliffhanger) I did not get a chance to ride (it was very hot and by the time we decided to go get wet, we were way on the other side of the park). I also do not have any pictures of it (unfortunately), but I will tell you that watching it run from the line of the Bat, it has a pretty good program, it is a double Splashover and they were running it so you would come down on top of the water and get wet. 6 - 8 full flips is what I was counting.
  19. Looks like the group is having a wonderful time. Robb and company keep up the great updates, it makes my workday a little better. Cannot wait until the Texas Trip next summer! Woo Hoo!
  20. Great TR. Looks like y'all are having a great time! What is funny is that you are from Toronto and I just got back from there. Visited Canada's Wonderland while I was there. Trip report (not as good as yours...): http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=37830&highlight= Thank you for sharing your pictures! Love the hot dog one! (Still laughing....)
  21. The mondial rocked (except you only get one full swing)...the amount of air you get was incredible!
