^I have about 6 SS's, 2 RR's and 2 SM's. Together with all the knex I have: more than 40,000 pieces. Two overviews of the COMPLETED ride! -

^^I have already added those. ^I have no clue, probably a few thousand. All that's left for me to do is to add queues and to clean the room. Then I can start taking final pictures and video (onride footage anyone? ). -

I need some opinion here. The last element of Speed o' Fear will be a turnaround, but I have two options. Because the hill is still descending, the turnaround can descend till the ground. The turn itself will be taken at a high speed, causing more G's. The train will have to climb up to the brake section though. This is option 1. The other option is to stop the descending of the hill and to place the turnaround about one grey rod above the ground. This means less speed and less G's, but the train won't have to climb to the brakes. I am still doubting, but I am leaning towards option 2. What is your opinion on this? Option 1 Option 2 -

Overview of the ride. The speed after the last hill tells me there will be one last turnaround. Video! -

Personally, I don't like knex tunnels. They are not looking too well and can be annoying when the train gets stuck somehow. And it would be hard to install on top of a curved section. Is there any news on the station? Yes, there is. I made a prototype of the loading platform; the first row queue. You will see it when I put up a new picture update. I will try to get my hands on finishing the trackwork first. -

I wanted to add a catwalk to the lift hill. The result was even better than I imagined. -

Update. I started on the station and made an overview picture. -

^^^^ Probably. It is also possible the train just runs out of energy on the brake run, without being actually braked. ^ Nope. This is an Intamin Megacoaster, so no inversions. -

I have been working on the pre-lift section and the hill. I need to get the pre-lift section right before I continue with the main ride. I need to know how high the station has to be. -

Thanks for the comments. I have new pictures from a while ago. Construction has been delayed for a few days/weeks... school is killing me. The track has been adjusted a bit after taking these pics, so the straight piece after the turnaround is gone. -
What is your local park?

I live in Kaatsheuvel, The Netherlands. I can see De Efteling's entrance from my bed room. -

Here I am again. I am currently working on a new bückel, but I only have a picture of the overbank's new lead-out. -

I have been having exams lately and I still need to read a few books to be accepted to the final exams, so there has been little time to work on this. Speed o' Fear will be taken down from the end back to second half of the overbank. The lead-out is messed and needs to be fixed, otherwise the speed would be drained instantly. -
I have only ridden Bobbaan (or De Bob) in de Efteling. I will add Avalanche (Pleasure Beach Blackpool), Schweizer Bobbahn (Europa Park) and Trace Du Hourra (Parc Astérix) this year though. Of course I voted Bobbaan.

TOPspeedProject V1.1
Jogumpie replied to The_Raf's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Was it your goal to reach the top speed in NoLimits? Then you should've launched the train up to the ceiling of the game and then let it drop to earth. Was it your goal to make an exciting ride? Then it really didn't work. -
Best and worst themed B&M
Jogumpie replied to gax's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well... I have only been on one B&M coaster and that was the best themed ride: Black Mamba. For worst I would chose Scream!, although the ride itself may be very good. -

Oh my... I forgot to give you updates! After the lift is the first drop (duh!) and it twists approximately 50 degrees to the right. The track pulls up and ascends into a large overbanked turn. This turn is going to followed by a bückel (almost the same size), I haven't finished it though. -
I don't really like the VV set. You cannot build accurate coasters with it... (there may be some exceptions). That is why I voted for the SS. I have 2 RR's, 2 SM's, 7 SS's and much more knex (40k pieces in total). VV = Vertical Vengeance SS = Screamin' Serpent RR = Rippin' Rocket SM = Storm Mountain
