The Voyage, El Toro, and the yet to be named "Beech Bend Coaster"

I usually sit on the site all day and keep hitting refresh. This gives me the best opportunity to come up some sly smart-ass remark before Wes beats me to the punch. Really ... I usually just go down the forums in order (Donkeys, Ask Alvey, Random, and UK Trip). I never really visit the games one, but every once in a while I will peak at some of the RCT screenshots. Most of the time I forget to even check the Sticky topics. I probably read about half of the topics posted. If the topic doesn't interest me .... I skip it. If it is a TR and doesn't have pictures .... I usually skip it. If the thread topic isn't specific .... I usually skip it. Retro TRs rule!

If you really want to read a great book on Arrow's early days, pick this one up: Roller Coasters, Flumes and Flying Saucers I think it is out-of-print so it may be a little hard to find, but well worth the search!

Awesome. I dig the Pac-Man hat. Makes me wanna do the "Pac-Man Fever" Where is Mr. Toad and 20,000 Leagues? I like how the big name characters used to walk around. When you got your picture with them, there was always about a hundred strangers in the background.

Awesome TR. I was luck enough to visit this park in the mid-80s and the World of Motion thing really took me back. That was such a cool ride. Except for the stupid monoliths!

I have never seen them use more than one "switchback" ever since the advent of FastPass. Why do they make people wait in the blistering Florida heat when there is more than enough room inside. This alone would cause me to give it lower marks.

Coaster doesn't stop. Investigation determines it was a faulty brake (Geniuses) No big deal ... we can reopen it now! Huh?

Totally agreed. That que is horrible. Nothing quite like being sardine canned in with a thousand people in a dark room. If I were a pickpocket, I would live here. Also, the queues are so long that if you ever hoped to ride in the same train as your friends ... it will never happen. My favorite queues are the ones with nobody in them.
