  1. I think this is a great idea for sfsl even though spinning dragons is only four hours away because a kid is not going to see it as the same. I can already see kids in the state saying mom can we please ride the tony hawk ride. It might not be the best ride, but it will sell merchandise and attract families and I think that is sfi goal at the moment.
  2. I hope the trains get the same foot rests Tatsu has because my only complaint about X is after I get off my calves hurt really bad
  3. This could be a good idea for SFI. I am not a big fan myself really expensive and the food is just average. JR seems to be a perfect fit for theme parks because of there prices. On a side note I can completely see the removal of JR from Knotts. It just would not make sense keeping JR in a rivaling parks.
  4. DragonKhan I love how you have almost a personal vendetta against EGF. I have seen most of your posts in Mitch's poll and its like you go onto tpr just to bash EGF. Or as you like to say it you aren’t "bashing" it your just stating that there are better rides.
  5. This looks like it will be the exact same as the water coaster from Mount Olympus? Is it not?
  6. almightyfire said BATMAN was the most awesome thing I had eva seen and I rode it only twice the first time because the load time was very slow but now it is so small in comparison to alphengheist. SCREAM- unimpressive such a clone of other six flags park rides. It reminded me a lot of SUPERMAN at SFFT. Am I getting this right you thought Scream was a clone but you loved Batman? There are way more Batman clones in the world then Scream ones. From best to worst: Tatsu X Riddlers Revenge Deja Vu Scream Batman Ninja Goliath Colossus Viper GoldRusher Psyclone
  7. There not going to burn it. They are at least going to sell the wood to make some money.
  8. You’re not understanding. Most the people who live in the LA area and go to Disneyland a good amount of times have a season pass. If you don't know already they don't make that much money on season passes if you attend Disneyland regularly. When I say regularly I mean 2-3 times and you have already paid for your pass.
  9. I am agreeing with you that it is a bit to pricy but what you have to realize that they have somewhat of a monopoly over the tourist theme park industry. Where does every young child want to go? Some place Disney. When tourist travel all across the country, even the world to go to Disney they wont mind paying more for admittance, do you understand what I am saying?
  10. First of all they are not trying to be demeaning, and second you don't need to be smart to use spell check. I would not go so far to say "Disneyland has always been less than worth it and will continue to remain that way" The raise in price gets me going to but I will not go all the way to say that Disneyland has always been less then worth it. You stated that you have only been there four times; maybe you should give them some more chances. I have had a pass for many years and there have been some good visits and some average ones but I will say that I have never had a "bad" visit.
  11. I have had a Disney pass for about 6 years now and I can't even think about paying 83 dollars for a hopper ticket. Yes it is a great experience but you can't count California Adventure as its own park at the moment, there just is not enough. I love Disneyland don't get me wrong but 83 dollars is a lot to do and everyone can agree with me that one day is not even enough to do everything that is there. As Rob has said in the past that if you go to Disney on the weekend it is a mess. I love Disney, but 83 dollars is pushing it.
  12. Well they will all be pretty crowded during the holiday and you might be better to just choose two parks and get everything done because it will be really crowded that weekend and there is a lot to see a the Disneyland Resort.
  13. rollermonkey said: I'm pretty sure it wasn't even on the ballot this year. Parktrips said: I'm pretty sure he was joking. Rollermonkey of coarse I was joking. I am just poking fun at how all you guys are arguing about what is the "best". In life everyone is going to have different opinions and everyone is not going to agree. There is no "best" coaster, everyone has there own favorite and Mitch is doing a great job at comparing them.
  14. Thanks. I am hopping to go the thing at Six Flags Magic Mountain this year. My parents don't exactly smile upon theme parks they think it’s childish but I like them a lot.
  15. Let’s say you two were the head of SFI. Let’s go back to before SFI sold the 7 parks. What would you two have done in this predicament, would you of sold the parks, kept them. What would you do for the rest of 07? I have heard many ideas from people in the forum but I wanted to strictly know what you two would do. Thanks
  16. Hey guys lets try to keep this topic to ideas and information. Everyone has the right for their own opinion and you don't need to bash someone who has one which is not the same as yours (OldJJman)(arneil_SFMM). Let’s try to be friendly guys
  17. I agree with USRoadTripper, SFMM is in desperate need of a family portion of the park. I think that it is good to focus on kids but everything can't be the wiggles or Thomas. They need an area that there can be rides that the whole family will ride together. I was never able to get a ride on Flashback but Pysclone is a mess. In my opinion it needs to go and it is a great move by Mark.
  18. Happy belated birthday. I really appreciate everything you do for this site.
  19. First off you had many spelling errors. 2nd it is not open yet and I am sure someone will post the day it opens.
  20. You do not need to be a member of ACE or almost any group to attend Solace. Many sites offer 'passes' that will 'get you in'. In the past, you've never needed to show any of these or any kind of proof that you're cooler than Joe Normal and in a club. Do you by chance know how much it was last year to get in if you were not a member of any coaster group?
  21. In my opinion the high roller is the best ride that has been up on the stratosphere for re-ride value. I have been on all 4 rides and I admit x-scream scared the crap out of me but if you buy the "day pass" x-scream as well as insanity get old. I guess I see where their coming from because most of the people that go up only go to ride a few rides. I still think that without high roller they are truly missing a ride on the top, that is just my two cents.
  22. I rode the high roller a couple of years ago. Why did they take it down?
