When someone tells me "Great body!" I don't know if they're talking about me or my hair. -
Brunswick Bowling for the PSP. Don't tell nobody. Terry

I bought the 5-user pack for the Mac OS, then my powerbook crapped out leaving with my slow 1ghz powermac as my main computer... so with a little hacking of my new PC that extra license doesn't go to waste... Mac at the standard speed until I finished installing the rest of my equipment and "burning in for a few days"... then it's overclocking to 3.2ghz time! But runs both Windows and Mac OS smooth, so I can load my TPR pages, listen to music or edit my web pages without waiting for the mac equivalent of the hourglass to finish spinning!

^As long as you don't say "Does baby want the 'biddy?" It's all good. Terry

Actually I would think people don't think of others enough make sure there's a path so others can get by would actually be the problem. I'm sure there's people on lunch hour that may need to get something really quick or on a short schedule that would appreciate getting by me while I'm leisurely window shopping. I figured those were people with a great sense of self importance. My mistake. But I don't really care about escalators, but the peoplemovers are really the problem for me; especially after saying "excuse me" to the same person several times and they don't want to move. Then I get loud and it's pretty scary for them, because they tend to jump out of the way. Or even worse the whole family with several strollers walking slow and blocking the entire aisle at the mall. If multiple people are squeezing past you and pushing you out of the way, that's probably your hint to get over. Terry
-
Congrat! Err about that last pic... hope you not considering "modeling"! I don't have to tell you about that "career choice" so many of these south florida kids make! I still got a ways to go on my program... I want to be a lil bit bulkier... but not Matt Rush big... I told him the other day "You's a big boy for 12!" Terry
-
I hate that too, especially when they have the signs posted at the airport for standers to move to the right. And there they are blocking the whole escalator or people mover lane. Those are the same people that cause traffic congestion and rubberneck on the highway. Keep the traffic moving and get the hell out of the way. Me (to person blocking path): "Move to the right." Dumb person: "Oh I'm sorry." Me: "Idiot" Terry "I'll embarrass folks on the paths. I got somewhere to go." Weaver

The Mitchell "Steroid" Baseball report is revealed

I had to endure watching the congressional hearings today during lunch, since someone lost the remote to the flatscreen tv at work. It's funny to watch these politicians grandstanding thinking that doing a "who's lying" bit is going to help anything. Busting people years after the fact isn't going to help when there's so much at stake as far as the competition between players, endorsement deals, salaries, etc. There's too much money at stake for this problem to go away. The senators and congressmen want to make sure that they idolize the right people, I say put the focus on professional and scientific workers. I still think it's a shame that teachers are so underpaid and athletes are way overpaid. If we can get younger kids to look up to people that use their minds rather than athletes and entertainment industry celebrities that can't stay clean to save their lives, they may find use of narcotics and "enhancers" may be reduced. But that's too hard for them to do, thus we have to take the easy way out. Oh well. Terry -
It costs much more at Best Buy because other costs are figured into the price, such as storage, showroom floor space, etc. Newegg (one of my favorite online stores BTW) is basically a big warehouse and they can pass on the savings to you (without sales tax). You're just paying for the convenience of going to the store and getting it; if you can wait then I'd order it online. I went over to Compusa's "going out of business" sale and it wasn't much of one. The case i wanted to get was $200, marked down from $250... Newegg had it for $160 with an additional $60 rebate, so I'll end up paying about $100 for it. Terry

Let's not play the victim. You ran up on it, so you're fair game. Live with it dear. BTW, coaster05 let you have it! Terry

^Well unless you're claiming emancipation from your parents (which then they can't claim you on their taxes), you're still dependent on them for your basic needs. Just look at that extra money going to your parents as making sure there is a roof over your head and food on the table. Or spent on a European coaster vacation. I figure the gov't should help build up my dollar overseas since it is only worth about 60 cents to a Euro. A mess. Terrance

I spent this morning wiring up my new PC and it worked on the first try! Usually it has to take a try to get all the connectors right. Tonight I get to install the operating system... with a six pack of beer. Drunk installs! Yay! Terrance

Read an article a few minutes ago about a 45 year old lady narrowly avoiding an entry in 2008's Darwin Awards. This was the first paragraph: Have mercy. Terry

Anxiously awaiting my 2.4ghz quad processor and power supply! I'm working on building my first computer in about 5 years; had to order some parts directly from China for wireless 802.11n 5ghz... if it works will have saved 1/2 the cost of the card. I think my have to make a TPR out of this... Terry

No you don't. Trust me. That's why I live in Florida. That's wasn't my random saying though. Phrase that made my day after giving the same answer to the same issue all day: "Search you fool!!!" I almost fell out of my chair at work. Terry -
^I have three of Wendy and Lisa's albums. The first two were really good, and the third had a few good songs as well. Their second album actually got more R&B airplay... I remember them performing on Soul Train with Wendy's twin sister, who actually sang on "Sign O the Times" and was part of "The Family" (another really good Prince-produced album... it features the song "Nothing Compares 2 U" which had so many remakes). Wendy and Lisa had a fourth album, "Girl Bros" where they had Lisa singing most of the songs... big mistake. I do have one track from that album which was decent. Of course if you watch 'Heroes' you'll hear them as they are the music composers for the series. There was a slight reunion with Prince on his last album, "Planet Earth" and you can kind of hear a taste of the old Prince, but not enough to satisfy me. Terry

^Won't happen unless someone wants to dig up a body and roll that casket out on stage. But I think the real singers are playing a pub somewhere. These days, you have to be careful where you say that. Downtown Bagdad is probably not the best place in the world. That would put a good spin on the music video. Plus the girls that did that "rap" song, L'Trimm, probably needs to wear all that black to cover up their old shapes. I still wonder to this day how they got THREE albums. They must have good...err.. talents that weren't realized on vinyl. Terry P.S. I had to find a clip at Amazon and that concept would work. "He turned a little button and the car went BOOM." I should work in the entertainment industry!

El Needs the rest of the family to stop singing gospel. The Jets had an album release a few years ago; didn't do anything though. It would be worth seeing them. Didn't the Stray Cats have something a while back too? But we definitely need some 80's reunion tours! Joan Jett needs some company out on the road and these disco reunion tours are played out! Have you seen some of these people lately? They're about to bring their walkers out on stage! (I did see Cindy Lauper and Donna Summer on the gay circuit last year. You know that's the 'last bastion' for some of these artists. I saw Jody Watley and Martha Wash from the Weather Girls too. Cindy sang all dance remixes though, I was mad she didn't do "Time After Time") Terry

^ Personally, I'm waiting for a few R&B reunions: * Shalamar (Jody Watley and Howard Hewitt would scratch each other's eyes out) * Vanity 6 - Heck have Apollonia show up and make it 12... same price. * Jade: Obscure, but those girls had a few hits out before they got stupid and tried to go solo... no album got released from any of them. I'm sure they could pull themselves away from their desk jobs to come on in. * Prince and The Revolution - I want a full album with Wendy and Lisa! That was Prince's hayday. Terry P.S. My roommate in college drove me up the wall with Yazoo; so I used to send him running with Run DMC, La-Trimm and Oaktown 3-5-7. "We like the cars, the cars that go BOOM..."

[rant]^If there is a god, they're all working at McDonalds on bathroom detail. Those kids were wretched and one of the reasons music lacks originality and is so horrible. Did those boys ever sing? Looked like generic eye candy for Tiger Beat. What ever happened to recording artists that didn't sound like they got signed through a group audition? [/rant] Terry

Time capsule would be the only thing I would consider buying since I'm in the market for buying a "N" router and I have several macs in the house. Well I have to finish building my "hackintosh" first before I move on to the next project. My roommate got excited about the itunes rentals because he always renting moving and is too lazy to leave the house or mail back discs! The only problem is our slow internet... our neighborhood is STILL only getting 1.5mbit downloads when everyone else is rocking 3-6! This is supposed to be the good neighborhood too! Condos in the $400K+ and slow cheap internet... a mess! Terry

I had the same problem with my site where i had people creating accounts just to post porn links. Then they had the nerve to say I can move it to the appropriate location, which was always the trash. I also then had to block their IP addresses then changed permissions on users so they couldn't post links or pics until they reached a certain post count. Unfortuately it wasn't enough people actually in the forums, just looking at the pages I created, so I eventually locked the forum. Seems you can't have anything without some idiot ruining it. Terry
