Like Many other people who grew up in So. cal. I started with Disneyland. You know The Matterhorn, Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and when it got put in Gadget's Go a coaster...or whatever that thing is called. Then when I was about 7 or so I went to Knotts and rode some there. They had these Soap Box Derby car things there that I guess kinda count as half a coaster. I went on Montie a few times but I was really scared of Boomerange. I remember thinking that it was so bad that the ride op's gave people puke bags before the ride started so the riders could use them during the ride. ( oh man was I dumb back then ) I guess the first "real" coaster I rode was WindJammer, I was too small to feel any headbanged, so I loved it and was dissapointed when they ripped it out. I got enough guts to ride Boomerange and I loved it. In April of 2003 I went to SFMM and fell inlove with actual coasters. And thats how I lost my coaster virginity. (it's in there somewhere ^ )

Robb's Silver Bullet Review
Mr.Six replied to Dr Freeze's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm just glad that I can get six loops at knotts on a ride without having to go on a vekoma Although Silver Bullet isn't an intense ride I think it fits in with the park very well and it adds a bit more of a selection of what type of coaster you want to go on. Not to mention it cuts down on line times for some other rides. -

Hyper coasters Vs. Wooden
Mr.Six replied to spike's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well, IMO I think they are wearing a bit thin. I would much rather see a coaster like Goliath be built instead of something like TTD or Kingda Ka. -
Playing in my room right now is.... "Equador (Bruce Wayne Edit)" _Sash! What about you?

I'm not sure if this site requires it but on many other sites it has to be in a .jpg format or .bmp. Also check the file size. You might have to rescale it. Tell me what its saying so I can understand you problem a bit more.

Rides probably closed: Metro, Flashback, and the Skytower. 1 side of Colossus and 1 side of Superman. Make sure you hit X! The lines fill up for X,Goliath, and Riddler throughout the day more it seems then any of the other rides, so make sure you hit those early. I would recommend eating a the Panda Express just to the right of viper. It's quick, it's easy, and their food is good. But if you want a nice sit down place go to Mooseburger. Both are fast and cheap. If you really wanted to you could buy...oh I forgot what it's called..."Fastlane"...it's their version of Disneyland's Fastpass. But SFMM charges for it. I don't think they work the same though.

I'd think it would be weird to take some stranger along on a trip! So I agree with them on that 100%. Maybe just a one day trip to a park or something could be a good interview. Hey thats a great idea! Robb and Elissa can meet us one by one at the parks and if they don't like us they can just run home and lock theirs doors

Blue Jeans, Black Footlocker T-shirt, and a plad overshirt thing. Now in Sunny California today it was very rainy! I was the only person who wasn't wearing a jacket or sweater

The only ride that I've been on that had riders booing the ride ops was Psyclone at SFMM. It really is a terrible ride. The trains are too heavy and the track is too old. I hear it's worse than flashback. I haven't had the honor to ride Flashback yet. The first time I went to the park it was open but I didn't bother riding it. *Slaps head* Ever since the end of the 2003 season it's been closed.

Ju-on (Correct me if I'm wrong but I think thats the name for the orignial Grudge movie) was much better than when they brought it over to America to try to remake. It was still an okay movie but it really did lose its touch.

Best Haunted Houses!
Mr.Six replied to CoasterEricHP's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The closest thing I've ever done to a haunted house was....The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland or doing the mazes at Knott's haunt. One scares the hell out of me more. Guess which one! -
About the Village. Good Idea yet bad ending.

As far as I can see, yes. They do appear to be the same. Which is not saying that you aren't going crazy jk -
My Favorite is the Alton Towers park mix video with "Rock DJ"!!! That song and video rocks! I always thought that Sweetness by Jimmy Eat World would be good for a POV of a ride or park.

It does look like something that should have a face on it. They seem like they are for a new darkride in California Adventure. -
Harold and Kumor Go to White Castle really was great!!! I thought the funniest part was Freakshow singing that Christian song. OMG! I was laughing so hard it hurt. Saw was really good also. But I don't recommend it if you don't like gore.
