  1. Nah. It be hangin' in me closet. There be no picture a me a sportin' the plaid. I be very sorry.
  2. The only way I would be offended by that would be if there was a white man standing there pointing and smiling just because of what the flag means in our culture. If someone is offended of a black man doing that, they are obviously racist pricks who think you are mocking them. Good for you Jarvis. Keep that picture there.
  3. I'm pretty sure most of us that have been to SFGAm or CP in the middle of the summer will hardly call the crowds tame. My concern is us getting into Chicago via the south end. The Dan Ryan is in a major reconstruction project and is a total disaster. It can take a couple of hours to traverse it, especially in the middle of the day. Whenever I think of the midwest, I think of the Dells and other smaller places like that.
  4. El Toro.... in the money seat.
  5. I never said that Owens was a good teammate. I didn't really say that Bonds is either. At least Bonds doesn't disrupt the team. When he is in the line-up, he carries it. Would you be very nice to the media if you were being accused of steroid abuse? I'm not saying that he is innocent, but he is put into a worse light than what he already was. Yes, Owens is a dick. However, I think he did try to do harm to his body. And you know what? I feel for him. Who knows what he has gone through behind the scenes. All we see is him in on the field and in front of the camera. Maybe he has a reason why he starves for all of the attention. All I know is, if I were at a conference like that, I would deny that I tried to kill myself too.
  6. Phhhttt. Who goes to Mets games?
  7. Schools out in August over here. I don't know from first hand experience because I have never been to the parks, but for the most part, a lot of the parks in the mid west are pretty tame all year round.
  8. Yeah, very bad comparison between Owens and Bonds. He doesn't seem like it, but I'm sure he is a good club house guy. I'm not saying he is an awesome character in there, but he isn't a jerk. The media just trashes people. It's kind of like our country. If someone doesn't let us take advantage of them, we throw bombs at them.
  9. First you were complaining about the 5 dollars now this!? It says that 2007 season pass holders will be elibile. I would think that you will be.
  10. You won't get any crap from me. Now, if you act like a tool, then that is another story.
  11. I actually think he is one of the most gifted players in NFL history....... just not at the quarterback position.
  12. I guess that is the easy explanation. That side of the station really hasn't been used this year, which is probably why the rust decided to breed.
  13. What? I didn't know there were old school pictures of DisneyWorld in this thread! EDIT: Further evidence that I read at a 3rd grade level. What? I didn't know there were old school pictures of Great Adventure in this thread!
  14. That theory is entirely possible, but I also believe that it is totally possible that he may be depressed. I just hate how the media and our country come up with conspiracy theories all the time.
  15. I don't know. There are a lot of times that Vick and the Falcons have off games. I guess it was just an off game for them. Jay "Naive since 1984" Willis
  16. My first ride was in the back. I remember it being rough, but it wasn't like it has been. I rode it in the next to back row on Friday. My arms were banging up against the restraints so much that I have bruises on the insides of my arms. I don't mind getting beat up on coasters, so I don't really care that much, but I'm sure that most wouldn't like it that much. It had a lot more rattle to it than what I remember. The best rule is to just get as far in the front as possible. I wouldn't have ridden it if it wasn't a 3 train wait during Family Night. ^ And yes. The blue train has been missing. It made a few appearances that I remember, but it was in pieces.
  17. I'm 1/8 Scottish and I am man enough to admit that I own a kilt.
  18. When they finally got it up and running last year, I believe they started running it with 3 trains (2 on one side and 1 on the other). Then when they "fixed" the broken train they ran it for a short time and then took it off. At the start of the season the went to one side, two train operation. I haven't seen three trains operate this year. I did see one on the track on the other side of the station, but I didn't see it get fired off. I believe the accident involved the blue train. It was either the teal or blue. I can't really remember. For some reason I'm leaning towards blue.
  19. I know. I was just teasing a little bit. No offense. I understood what you were saying.
  20. I may not like the guy that much, but I can understand. There may be some that will say "Oh, but he is making so much money. He should be happy." Money isn't everything. You try to go through all of the crap that people put him through. Sure, he isn't the most likable personality out there, but sometimes stuff can wear on you. It would seem that I have everything going for me too. I have a great girlfriend. I'm finishing up school. I'm incredibly good looking (sarcasm). However, I still go through little bouts myself eventhough it is pretty much all behind me. I just hope that people try to understand this and don't just rip him.
  21. ^^ I guess you would know best since you are around them so often.
  22. It does run pretty rough, but you have to remember the accident from last year also. The train that got eatten up was never the same after. I believe they fixed it the best they could, but it only operated for a very short period of time.
  23. Is this kind of promotion really needed? Do they really think that they will be getting enough of an increase in season pass sales to compensate something like this? Same old Six Flags.
  24. I don't know about the best game ever, but certainly a great time for the city and for football. That's awesome that you were there. I'm happy for your team. They are looking good. Now I must go cry because I took Matt Hassleback out of my fantasy line-up this week for Vick and lost by .3.
  25. Kingda Ka anywhere near the back is the biggest no-no. I'm sure you know that now though Jeff. It is much, much smoother in the front. And yes, you felt the three pulses for the launch correctly. That was one of the "improvements" made to the ride. Instead of one big launch out of the gate, Kingda Ka was made to have those pulses as you described them.
