Holy Land Experience "saved" by Christian network

Problem: Dante only went through Hell once. Solution: Put a wall between the two tracks in the tunnel and make one be a true tunnel and the other just a trench. -
Vivaldi Park Classic

I like Myth. Very twisty, and looks like it would give some pretty good airtime on the return run. It does look short though, and I don't like how it goes out so far away from the rest of the park, but I assume it will be closer to the park when the park grows bigger and reaches out alongside the rid. I just have three questions, how long is Myth? What scenary pack are using for the pathways? and can we get an overview of the park so far? I want to see just how small it is. -

Looks like a B&M mini hyper too me. Anyway, this is a great park, very nice atmosphere. The one thing I don't like is the giant frisbee. It looks plopped down compared to the other flat rides and is way too big for the park. -
~Update`6-26`~ **Preview of Park!!!**
asr replied to Milkchan's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
It's obviously a sitdown, floorless, or stand up. Because you have Mantis as your avatar, I'm guessing stand up, but it appears to have an immelmann or cobra roll, which arn't elements used on stand ups. Other then the trains, floorlesses and sit downs are indistinguishable, so if it's not a stand-up, I can't guess the type. -

It's Extra Point day again. Since they made the POV a day or two ago (see latest blog entry) maybe this time we will get the POV. Maybe this time... EDIT: Has anyone else seen Cedar Point ads online? I just saw one while looking at dictionary.com of all places... -
Granted the weather is pretty constant inside the dome (except for when it rains). I dont think a wooden coaster would work inside the dome, mainly for the space required for a stable enough structure. As it is the dome floor shakes a bit each time the Canyon Blaster or Rim Runner operates. I think the Adventuredome, despite it being borderline ghetto, has done a pretty good job given its size...and they have Disk'O on the way! Having worked there, I dont think wooden is territory they would delve into. If space and structural stability would be a big problem, what about a steel support, wood track hybrid? I know you said that they wouldn't build a wooden coaster, but how technicaly feasable would it be to build a hybrid woodie?

Unemployed People are Screamin', the re-themed California Screamin'. At the end of the ride, you get dipped in a big tub of homeless people and get hit in the face with pinapple pancakes. However, the ride breaks down while they are in line, then they all died when they got hit in the head with an AquaTrax car. Now for something completly different. In some strange place...

Atlas: Update 6/12

Looks great, reminds me of Kanonen and Rita, and the inline twist looks crazy. But, could you make a slow motion video? These things always go way to fast to comprehend what is happening. -

So yeah, theres an update and stuff. I'm running out of things to put here. Anyway, I did stuff, and now I'm posting about it. But mostly I'm posting since "New un-named park" is now; So yeah, other then that... Keep reading, and you will see! ...Or just get a few walk-on X-Rail front row nightrides! Ride at night for a real fright... Overview picture. UNACCEPTABLE AMOUNT OF WETNESS!!! I feel sorry for this dude. He has been sitting here since the 1800s... Up the fourth and final lift hill. I hope you arn't afraid of ghosts... Raft heading down into the graveyard. Up into the forboding church on a mountain. Unacceptable amount of wetness! (If you think that IS an acceptable amount of wetness, EMAIL DAN!) Sorry I didn't mention this before, but you DO GET WET on this ride... A skeleton just hangin' out. "Tuuurrrnnn baaacccckkk... While you stiiilllll caaaannnn..." The windows are boarded up. Not a good sign. What your all here for: Ghost Town Flood Rapids, a two minute expedition through a valley, were a town was tragicly flooded in the late 1800s. Blue side POV. Yellow side POV. S&S tower ride, Detonator. Random Flat #2: Rodeo. Random Flat Ride #1: Vortex. On your right is this spooky abandoned mill, but more on that later. Lookings towards Quicksilver. Eventually there will be shops along here. You can see how it winds through the forest in this shot. The car ride, Old Timers. Nice shot of Main Street. X-Rail from the upper floor of Hawaiian Harbor Bar and Grill. Arcade with retro games. Hall of Liberty Gift Shop. One of my favorite views in the park, looking down Main Street towards Action City. Season pass processing, with out of date signage. Yummy stuffs. Skyline shot. Parking lot coaster. Gate into the parking lot. Signs out front. -
What is your favorite Roller Coaster?
asr replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Here are some pictures of my top ten coasters (keep in mind I have very limited expierence, just 30 coasters ridden). All pics from RCDB. Ouch. I hate you stupid Arrow ride. And least favorite steel coaster, Great American Brain Damage Machine at SFGAdv. owowowowowowowowowowpleaseletmedieowowow. And as a bonus, least favorite woodie (Mean Streak, CP). Ride in the front row, great view and better airtime. Millennium again. #1: Millennium Force, CP. Superman again. #2 (Tied): S:ROS, SFNE. Magnum again. #2 (Tied): Magnum XL-200, CP. #4: Blue Streak, CP. Raptor Again. #5 (Tied): Raptor, CP. #5 (Tied): Wicked Twister, CP. #7: Mind Eraser, SFNE. About to go down the best drop. #8: Cyclone, SFNE. Cannonball again. #9: Yankee Cannonball, Canobie. Nitro again. #10: Nitro, SFGAdv. -

Doesn't look as amazing as I thought, but still looks like a great ride for the park, even more so since its the first B&M and first inverted coaster in Korea. The theming looks great too.

I would love a ride like this at Canobie. We could use a launch coaster in New England. Anyway, looks like a cool ride.

Looks nice. You would think that a rocket coaster like that would destroy the character of the entrance, but it actually looks pretty nice. -
[NL] APOLVS the coaster
asr replied to GURZU's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
That was great. Looked very smooth, and the first drop and second inversion looked great. However, inverts can't do such straight drops necause your legs might smash into the car in front of you.
