Photo TR - SFOT and off-season parks

"Kansas' Number One Attraction!" . I've had a brochure for a while but never thought about that. And Wichita is very scary. I hate that place. But, I'm moving there this summer. -
I went there on August first and September the second last year. It was closed each time. An employee told me that there was nothing wrong with the ride, it just needed a new control box and that they were waiting for it to come in. IMO the Tomahawk was awesome. Why would it be taken out? Shouldn't they take out Nightmare Mine first? It's been sitting there for more than three years!!! Tomahawk is probably getting some updates or something. Do you have any pics?

^Honestly, I can't tell you where I got them. I didn't pay attention to what came in the package. The only thing that you could do is go to www.rct2uces.com and look at the individual objects and see if these are on there. I'M NEEDING HELP WITH THE NAMES OF RIDES!!! Do you have any ideas? I need names for the inverted coaster, spaceshot, woodie, and the ferris wheel.

I couple of days ago I got the UCES project (www.rct2uces.com) and LOVED it! Then I downloaded the park "Premier" over at RCPro. That gave me a little more scenery to work with. So as of three days ago, I am making a "sorta professional" park, called Springwood Park. I don't know if that's been mentioned before, but that's all that came to mind. PICS ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE.

^That was quite a bit back. Anyway, you should have gone behind the park. The rides are RIGHT ON THE ROAD!!! Well, not literally, but they are close. I got to do that but no camera. Driving by, it appears that every ride is up, with only a few still under construction. The giant sign is nice looking but you rarely get to see it. All those billboards get in the way until you are right by it (As you can see in one of those pics). -

The speed slide at Derby has some good airtime but REALLY hurts . You come off of the slide and hit your head every time. Take my advice: It's not worth it. http://www.rockriverrapids.com/ As for WWB, that looks like a good addition. I love the racing slides. -

So um, what are you talking about? I really don't think it's coincidence. This topic is a little dull. -

I'm guessing they didn't make much money last year anyway. The main draw was the roller coaster. People were wanting to go for that, but when they heard it was closed, they delayed their plans. The opening kept getting delayed until Joyland was closed for the season so they lost a lot of revenue right there. Anyway, I can't believe that the park was bought last year (or maybe two, either way it hasn't been long) and might be sold AGAIN! This park really is a winner. The staff was nice, the park was clean. Everything about that place was just "right". Like almost everybody else, I really wish it wouldn't fall a victim of demolition. I agree with snuggles that it should be relocated to WWW if anything happens to it. WWW is hoping to get a woodie for 2009, but getting this earlier would really help. An AMAZING woodie like that deserves to go somewhere respectful where it's not always in danger of being scrapped. Where to put it though? I will be following this story closely for a while.
