Frontier City in Oklahoma City, my home park, seems to be up to something for this season. They have removed the swing ride, called Swinging Six Guns, and are removing the platform where the Tomahawk (Vekoma air jumper if I remember correctly) was. Their billboard is saying "this summer the ground drops out". For those of you not familiar with Frontier City the Tomahawk was just north of the swings with a set of bathrooms (1 of only 3 in the park) separating them. Michael Lopez

I am going to New England later this summer (early August) and would be interested to know what parks i should visit up there. I will only have time for 2 or so parks so any advice would be appreciated.

My home park (frontier City) in Oklahoma City has been dismanleing one of their rides over the last couple of weeks. The ride is called the Tomahawk (sp?) and is one of those looping side by side rides that you find at many carnivals (i forget the generic name for it). Does anyone know if this is permanent or not and if it is what ride, if any, is likely to replace it? Michael Lopez

As I am sure most of you know Six Flags sold 7 of its parks including my home park (Frontier City) but the only thing that I have heard is that the new owners ar former heads of something called Alfa parks. Has aneyone been to any of the parks these people own/ed? If so how good do you think they will do at running a chain of theme parks? MOD EDIT: Please make sure your titles make sense and are legible.
