  1. Memorial day weekend can be a little crazy. I recommend going early and being there for opening. As far as the weather, it's anyone's guess. When I worked at SFFT back in the day, we had Memorial day weekends that were awesome weather and packed and then we had some that were total rain outs. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and everything will be running at full capacity. Good luck!
  2. Here is a video I found on You Tube showing it's now open. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGlv-fAm3GE
  3. I can't wait to see the finished product. Sounds like it's going to be a pretty fun ride.
  4. That just freakin looks "Aca-Awesome"!!!
  5. *sings* "Blue Bell, the best Ice Cream in the country......" So alilstronger, how are you liking living in Texas so far?
  6. I agree. It'll be a pretty nice setting with all the trees.
  7. I usually started at Goliath up front. Then Boomerang, Roadrunner Express, Rattler, then around to Superman Krypton Coaster, Pandemonium, then Poltergeist. Now I'd probably go straight to Iron Rattler then work your way around counter clockwise. That's what usually works for me. Just depends on what's most important to you.
  8. Looks like it's gonna be a pretty cool little addition to the park. I totally agree it's better than having an SBNO ride there rotting away. Kudos to SFStL for making strides to spruce up the park. Is the Batman paint job finished? Any pics? Look any better?
  9. Lots of great feedback and reviews so far. Can't wait to ride!
  10. That coaster looks like it could possibly pack quite a punch.
  11. Wow! Looking good! Can't wait until it's all done.
  12. This coaster looks like it's gonna be hella fun!
  13. Staffing is an issue. If they sent people home and they didn't have people there then they have to deal with. It is what it is. Superman and Poltergiest have a history of valleying during high winds so they're not gonna risk it especially after the Pandemonium incident a few weeks ago. It's called "go with the flow".
  14. Six flags Fiesta Texas. Best scenery ever. Great theming. (For the most part) as long as the fix stuff up. Love SFGAm as well. SFFT has the greatest character though. Hope they can keep it up. Nice mix of coasters. Everything from a great mine train to a cookie cutter Boomerang to a custom B&M floor less and a premier speghetti bowl coaster. The park had a lot to offer.
  15. I totally agree with Robb on this one too. I always thank military veterans and those serving for serving our country but at the same time you can't play that card to get what you want. If the ride is t designed for your disability, you don't ride just like the specs say. Heart conditions, back conditions, etc. Don't play the war card jut to try to get your way. As at as six flags is concerned, the did the right thing. Period! As far as refund the money, they should have done research. It's in their site and on signs. Disabilities aren't a free pass and I personally dispise people who try to use that to try to get what they want. *end drunken rant*
  16. I was just wondering where the bad management comes in then. That's all.
  17. So usually there are signs at the parking lot entrance and the park entrance showing Which rides are closed because of weather or other issues. Were the signs not out?
  18. Thanks Chris! Looking forward to your next update!
  19. Thanks for posting all the pics of SFFT. Like the lock screen pic with Iron Rattler. Any chance you want to share??? I'd love to use it on my phone.
  20. Wow!!! Awesome update! Thanks for all the pics. So one question I do have is on the Lazy river. Is that some type of lagoon or wading pool on the inside (bottom right) of the Lazy River?? *edit* Just kidding...I found the renderings. Very nice!
  21. Nice to see the metal detectors are before the actual entrance gates now. Hopefully this should speed up entering the park. So no more fountain at the front of the park???
  22. So pretty much it's the new Six Flags AstroWorld of the chain is what you're saying? Well as far as a dump for used coasters.
  23. ^^ Or a Scream or Green Lantern. If it would have been put up closer to The Boss and Xcalibur, they could have kept the Dungeon Drop theme. That was great theming when it was at AstroWorld.
