I'm looking for hotels near those parks aswell. Till now, best website I found is www.comfortinn.com. Very handy that you can look up with the name of the themepark and also the map you get after hitting search is very convenient to see where the hotels are located. For Dorney and SFGAdv the hotels are some miles from the parks but still at an acceptable range.

I rode Bomb Bay in Orlando (didn't even know there is one in Vegas too). It is indeed nerve racking. One time I took place in the capsule and started waiting for the trap door to open. It seemed like ages before it opened and I took a careful look at the operator through the little window. PotC At world's end : 5,5/10 I like the attraction, but I don't like the movies : Jack Sparrow is cool, Keira Knightley is beautiful, some nice special effects, but a meh story.

If you stay 2 nights with 3 days park, Gbp 100 being approx euro 150 should be enough if you watch out where you eat. Food & drinks are expensive in DLP but with 50 euro per day, you will not go to bed hungry and still have some money left for souvenirs. Some tips : probably breakfast is included at the hotel, so take the time for breakfast so that you can save some money on a complete lunch later that day. In the evening, there is a McDonald in Disney Village. Most probably the cheapest place to eat on Dlp ground. There is also an all you can eat buffet in Mainstreet (at the end of mainstreet, at your right if you're in front of the castle. I don't recall the name for the moment but it's easy to find) If you go by car/train, take water/soda's/... with you from home. You will save a lot by doing that.

On the one hand I can understand that they want to ban children from these kind of restaurant but on the other hand, it is Disney, the happiest place on earth. Even if only a few children per year are taken to that restaurant and thus the ban will not have a big impact, I have mixed feelings about it. But let me tell you what I found even more strange : in August we (my wife and I and our 2 daughters of 9 & 4) are planning a visit to Disneyland Paris. We wanted to stay in the Castle Club of the Disneylandhotel this time so I checked the rates for a room at the Castle Club and at the same time out of curiosity, I asked what the suite rates are. We got the standard CC room rate no problem. We also got the CC suite room rate, no problem either. What we didn't get is the special themed suite rates. Reason : no children allowed in those suites I now wonder, are those suites decorated with priceless china ? Or are there orginal Van Gogh paintings on the wall ? ... Not that we really wanted to book such a themed suite (probably way above our budget) but I think it's strange that they didn't even want to give me the rate because of my kids. Anyway, although this bad experience, we've now booked a Castle Club Standard suite with parkview for August. If I now can't see the castle from my room, I make my way to the themed suites to break some china
