  1. No, it's just south of Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.
  2. Wow Robb, this is fast. Who are you hosting with? (I could look it up, but it would take a few days to find the answer. LOL)
  3. I agree with Ted, the Gimp is cool. I myself use it on special projects, but use Micrographix most of the time. (i know, it's archaic, but I love it!)
  4. Yea, Thanks Ted and Gregg! I agree, too many moderators and admins ruins things. I know that one first hand!
  5. But unfortunately, the web master is an amateur, (took us months for him/her to support firefox properly) and the log in procedures are ridiculous. I just went there, and my account "expired". So they have this form to fill out, and it constantly fails. What's the point on keeping such close tabs on people? Apparently he needs a class in how to run a web site, and how to secure it from troublemakers.
  6. the codes "L2R C64"... Translation.... Left to right, Comodore 64 bit. Love to Ride (CENSORED) hehehehe Dennis "took the liberty to censor his own post".
  7. leave it to me to cause havoc... This thing filled my empty hot tub overnight.
  8. ^ I was like that when I was younger, programing keyboads and playing around all the time. Then I got my 1st computer, and the rest was history. Now I just like borrowing the church's keyboards to steal all the instruments out of it. LOL
  9. ^ We're not quoting you. I found the definition...
  10. OMG, is this Robb in his ACE days?!?!?!?!?
  11. Sounds quite professional. God forbid you'll have to play that song live. My heart's palpitating already.
  12. I hate that one that links to one site, and his pictures are 2 sites away. The ones that annoy me the most are the ones that announce "future" trip reports. The title will have PTR in it, but the message is just "I'm going to six flags next week, watch for the photos...". I'm really glad to see something is being done about this. I almost brought this up last week, but I see I'm not the only one this bugs. Dennis "thinks web masters that care are cool".
  13. ^ VERY cool. When I listen to music, I have a tendancy to look at "technical merit" of composition. You guys are good. I'm currently working with this EMO band, and they suck so bad! The drummer has a hard time keeping up, and the back-up vocals just reek! The band only has a good vocalist and guitar/bass. (The things you do for friends... sigh)
  14. I see they sold a whopping ZERO subscriptions. Niether of these sites looks legit, especially since they're using FREE email accounts. (BIG warning sign!)
  15. ok, stupid question.... What are "brownfield acres"? Is this refering to wooded area, or something else.
  16. Phantom's Revenge, last year. (I live 10 minutes from a coaster, you'd think I'd ridden it, but I have YET to do so!)
  17. We should be thanking you for running "da bomb". Though you may know this stuff already, here's a couple tips I've learned for speeding scripts up a bit... (I run a perl-based portal, but the theory is the same) Avatars: Allowing users to hotlink avatars can slow down display time. If a user's avatar is huge, or on a slow server, sometimes the browser won't display your page until it finds, loads, or errors-out the avatar. It's more a browser-flaw, than anything, and being these scripts use lots of tables, the slow-downs are very common. And if the user is blocking "third-party images" with firefox, then it looks like a lot of people don't have avatars. Calendar: The script has to "think" every time the calendar is displayed. Displaying it only on a single page improves performance. Who's Online: This is another "thinking" processes that should be avoided. Putting a "who's online" option in a link to display who's on is much better than doing it on every page. Just a couple tips.
  18. "Mom, did you ever have one of those days, where.... you just didn't feel fresh?"
  19. Gawd, I haven't seen the offspring since the original Napster fiasco. (To refresh your memory, the Offspring started selling Napster logo gear on tier web site in retaliation for allowing people to trade songs on the service without their permission.) I do see they've got a TV commercial selling a "greatest hits" CD with a new song on it, guess their creative juices ran out.
  20. Too late, I've already got that, as well as hamster porn!
  21. ^ Ain't that the truth?!?! I think that web site wins as the industry's most LAME web site. (Right next to coasterbuzz. LOL)
  22. The nice thing about computerizing is that when a new keyboard comes out, you just find someone who owns it, and ask for samples of the instruments to program into the computer, and voila! -cheap knock-off without the expense, and listeners are clueless. You can pretty much emulate any effect on a computer. (I knew one day algrebra/geometry/algorythms would come in handy!) I'll post a bunch of break beats and instruments that I've created later today, they can be used in samplers, sequencers, or keyboards.
  23. http://www.theonion.com/news/index.php?issue=4127 this is funny (in a cute way)
  24. http://www.timesonline.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=14818083&BRD=2305&PAG=461&dept_id=478663&rfi=6 The highlight of this story..... He (refering to KW president McAneny) said the park already has plans to add a $2.5 million roller coaster next year. Um, so this is in addition to screaming swing? What kind of coaster can you get for 2.5 million? a kiddy coaster?
  25. (theme park) boobiefanatic! I know, it's silly.
