A somewhat PTR: Elitch Gardens
Twister II posted a topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'll let the pictures do the talking. And OMG! We found this little plush toy, its a series called "Throw Me!". They were extremely cute, especially this ASS. Today was no trims on Twister II! Woot! A much better ride. Mind Eraser didn't have a line all day, but still very rough. Not going to lie, FlyingTortueMachine was set to extreme pain today. Some good views from Big Wheel. In here is The Amazing Acrobats of China, which really aren't from China, but the show was pretty cool! One of the only short lines in the park under 30minutes. As you can see, very crowded. These are my friends, Jason, and Kelsea, we started with Halfpipe today. -

Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread
Twister II replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
inline twist = heartline roll same thing different name. Nope. A heartline twist has its name for a reason. Using the CAD programs, some guy (who also created the tear drop loop) pin pointed the middle of the train, where the hearts on average people are. Then he designed the track to rotate around the heart, so it would still travel in a, somewhat, straight line. The in-line twist is there the heart goes around the track. There's your history lesson for the day. -
Interesting Fact

I don't believe it. Millennium Force pulls like 5.5G's at the bottom of the first hill. -

Most ride ops on one coaster?
Twister II replied to jALIg's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
When I was at SFMM, I went to Scream. There were about 17+ ops there, but only 2 were doing dispatch/harness. Coasters at Elitch Gardens usually have 3-4 op's. -

Now why would you say that? We all know that the red things of metal that have been post in the say......past 10 pages are just fragments of your imagination. -

UPDATE! The 'new coaster' is almost done! I'd say 90%! Please, I'd love any sort of comment on how to make my park better! That could mean, changing a name of a ride, taking out rides, building new rides, new theme area idea, anything! Entering the brake run. This coaster has lots of turns and change of directions. A corkscrew clearly seen from the pathways. Entering the Zero-G roll! The station is lit up my multi-colored lights. Its a custom scenery pack you can find in the sticky topic in this forum. A train waits patiently to get into the station from the block brakes. Do you dare to enter? Oo, mysterious!

The Ride Op Workout
Twister II replied to haiderodes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Tiring as in sleepy would have to be a Boomerang. Mostly because of long dispatch times. Tiring as in stressful I would think would have to be TTD/Kingda/or any accelerator coaster. -

Eh, no one's responding, sad day. UPDATE: Superman is open, but scenery is not final. And the last (I think) coaster is being built! It's Black Mam......I mean....a new coaster. =] Im not happy with it. But it will do. Maybe even a theme will be added to this coaster? I wonder what the layout is? hmmm...
