  1. I always watch what I eat. I tried to eat with my eyes closed one time and my fork missed my mouth and I ended up with food all in my beard. Seriously, I try to eat some healthier options and focus on smaller portions (I often fall into the "clean plate" club and continue eating even after I am full). I also grow my own organic tomatoes, peppers, herbs and squash. However, I think the stress of obsessing over your diet can be as bad as eating poorly; so if I feel like having a burger and fries on occasion I don't beat myself up over it.
  2. WOW!!! That pretty much says it all...but great job and all those other superlatives apply as well.
  3. Amana HE clothes washer ~$550.00
  4. Back at work today after two weeks off. The first four days were unpaid furlough time, followed by 6 days of paid Holiday time (5 days Winter Break + New Year's Day)
  5. We have a winner! It is a Sony wireless microphone receiver. It slides into a rack, with up to five more of its friends and gets connected to your sound system. andyuk is up next.
  6. PA system is getting closer
  7. OK...does this view help out?
  8. AND.....What else? (';)')
  9. No. It is not computer hardware.
  10. No. It is about an inch thick, just over 2 inches wide and 4 3/4 inches long.
  11. Smaller...and in normal use it would actually be oriented more horizontally. It is sitting on edge in the photos.
  12. No; but you guys are correct in that it is something electronic.
  13. Until RCT3D wakes back up here is something
  14. A wooden tabletop, designed to support a yellow cable
  15. I've never had a problem. Of course, I also ride a unicycle...so maybe I'm just adept at making preventative adjustments.
  16. The first week of October might be a little early for the best fall color. I've been up to the Smoky's a few times that week and there was only a little color at the peaks of the mountains. I've been to both Smoky Mtn Brewery locations in the area and would second the recommendation. The Pigeon Forge location is in a strip center, with mini golf out front, near traffic light 2B, Community Center Dr. The Gatlinburg location is near the south end of town, 2 blocks from entering the Park, across from the Ober Gatlinburg Tram--it is off the main road a little bit behind another restaurant.
  17. I figured it would be too easy; but it was handy, I couldn't think of anything else to use and didn't have time to search for something online. Your turn.
  18. This may be too easy...
  19. Is it a swazzle?
  20. Unfortunately, I am not sure about Monongahela Natl. Forest. I was actually heading south when I did that drive and combined Skyline Drive with a portion of the Blue Ridge parkway heading south to Roanoke, VA. I do know that Skyline Drive was created with motoring in mind and has many spectacular overlooks. Something else I just remembered is Luray Caverns about halfway along the drive on Skyline Drive. http://luraycaverns.com/index.html
  21. To add some nature to your journey you could drive through a portion of Shenandoah National Park. When leaving Richmond/Williamsburg going towards Pittsburgh, take I-64 East to Skyline Drive. You can drive all or a portion of the road heading north through the park and then jump over to I-81 North to continue your journey.
  22. I know you were joking; but, as a fan of word usage/origins I had to look it up. The term ghetto rose to common usage during WWII. Beast was introduced in 1984, Beast Light in 1986. So, in this case, the ghetto came first. edit--OK U of Dayton began buying housing in the area in the 1950's; so the ghetto still comes first
  23. I found a new craft beer store in Atlanta this week (they opened in April but I didn't find out about it 'til now) called Hop City. They had a great selection and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I'm happy. I'll be working my way through some of this stash this weekend.
  24. Most Atlanta area schools start back up on Aug 10. That might make for a crowded weekend (get a Q-Bot). There is a "Christian Back-to-school concert" on Aug 8. If that is your friend's type of thing they might consider that day; otherwise I would avoid the Saturday crowd. I can't decide now whether Sunday would be crowded because it is the last shot before school starts or maybe less so since it is a school night. I haven't actually been to the park this weekend (last one before school starts) in forever. Anybody else with recent experience...? Park strategy: If you want to run with the bulls then head to Goliath. Otherwise, skip it and you can get some low wait rides in on Batman and Mindbender or go to the back of the park to catch Superman (typically one of the slowest loading rides). Remember to ride Ninja in the 2nd to last seat. Georgia Cyclone is a very aggressive ride and is too rough for many people; so plan according to personal taste (do not ride anywhere other than the front or the back or the ride's forces are wasted and you get nothing but shook up). Don't miss Monster Plantation. It is a unique dark ride. I don't think they really have any decent shows to be concerned about; although they might be a chance to sit inside in the AC for a while. Food Value? Hah! this is Six Flags we're talking about here. I usually get the bar-b-que at Daddy O's or go to the GoldenPandaBuddahExpress place.
