  1. You need to include the Giga Looper .dat in a .zip file with your saved game, or at least provide a link to a working download.
  2. WARNING! DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! Find out more about Options.txt here. Basically, modifying the Options.txt file is the easter egg that we're not supposed to know about.
  3. I deal with enough horse[censored] from rude high schoolers here at Penn State (incoming freshmen, as well as camp groups). I don't appreciate Thelegendarymatthew's attitude. Perfect example. www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=59286&start=10 You start a thread that people appreciate, then the image links get cut, you leave the people that appreciate you hanging, and you be rude about it? Gives me terrible gas! A more appropriate response would have been - Or maybe this one -
  4. On the contrary - it looks perfectly fine. 6.8G though? Not as much. You might want to fix that.
  5. I also have the original banners and thumbnail saved on my Mac, in both PSD and PNG, in case of emergency.
  6. Doesn't that show up in the logs?
  7. I convinced three of my college friends to make TPR accounts so they can go to East Coast Bash and pay for themselves!
  8. Fantasmic looks, well, fantastic. Is the dragon's name still Murphy? I still prefer World of Color (the premiere show, not the extended Pirates version) only for its musical score.
  9. I don't know if this is such a good idea. Look what happened when we did a RCT3 track of the week.
  10. I hate it when the train gets launched before the speech is finished. It's so startling!
  11. Will you all be traveling to Fuji-Q Highland? Maybe Takabisha will be open!
  12. Hersheypark. July 7. Getting my fix before East Coast Bash.
  13. All I can tell you is to build the ride using the normal omnimover (B&M) track, then build the monster truck track directly over top of it (with the options.txt edit, of course) - but I don't know how they line up.
  14. How so? As technology evolves, things such as pre-drops become unnecessary. It's just a matter of design. Maybe parks didn't like the pre-drop? The last new B&M coaster with a pre-drop was Phaethon at Gyeongju World (S. Korea) built in 2007.
  15. Yes, that would be best. The Game Exchange has an edit function, so you don't have to upload a whole new file. Retracing a layout isn't too time-consuming.
  16. But, there's the thing - Players without Wacky Worlds won't be able to open the TD6, because you used the Limousine coaster. Players that don't have either expansion pack won't be able to open the TD6 or SV6.
  17. Yes, it looks pretty good, but not everyone has Time Twister, so you might lose out on potential rankings.
  18. Hey, look. A sub-hypercoaster that isn't a Mega-Lite or an I305 knockoff. Who knew? Coming soon, from AJ.
  19. Sky Rocket has a two-position restraint system, meaning that riders are restrained in two places - in this case the lap and below the knees. This ensures that even when going slowly over an incline, riders are kept safely in place. Griffon doesn't have that kind of luxury, because it's floorless. Because riders are unrestrained below their theighs, there must be a way to keep riders' bodies from hanging over forward when they are held going over the drop. If they weren't held there and instead just dropped, the horizontal acceleration would keep riders against the backs of their seats when going over. If Griffon had an overhead lap bar like the new Gerstlauers, if the lap bar became unlocked while the train was being held over the drop, riders would be able to slip out of their seats over (or more likely under) the bar. Because the only place that a Maurer Sky Wheel can be left hanging is the top of the lift hill, the only acceleration that needs to be taken into consideration for safety in a breakdown is gravity - for the same reasons that roller coasters with only a loop can be considered "safe" using only a lap bar system. Don't mean to sound like a self-proclaimed expert, but it's just the physics student in me. Correct me if I'm wrong.
  20. I threw down the hammer and closed entries. We have eighteen in all, which I think is very good.
  21. Haven't submitted your entry yet? It's too late now! Entries for the challenge are now closed! The Manager probably has his excited hat on, because he has eighteen proposals for his new park. Nice work, everyone! Voting for the challenge will begin shortly (as in, about two days or so). Remember - there are two official TPR Bags of Crap on the line! Also remember - we'll be watching the voting to make sure it's all fair and not skewed.
  22. Your argument is invalid. I see no whipping laterals in that layout I re-posted - I see large separations between supports, and large sweeping turns. If you go to Hersheypark next year, and you're looking for a "me too" Intimidator305, I think you'll be disappointed. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this won't even be comparable to Intimidator305, and it will be unique on its own merits. And, of course, I could also eat my words. But, I'm not going to "starve" myself.
  23. Meh. Serves you right, Matthew. Upload your pictures as attachments.
  24. Sounds like Venus is an awesome ride. It looks like it would be one of my favorite coasters if I ever got to ride it.
  25. I'd like to see a supersized Starflyer like the one at Prater -
