  1. Hey, look, the interstate is pretty much empty. This is a perfect time to get on! Oh, hang on, there's a car coming. No matter, he'll just move into the passing lane so I can get on easier. 45, 50, 55... Wait a minute, why aren't you moving? 60... [censored] [censored] [censored]ing [censored]! Why aren't people courteous enough to move into the passing lane to let someone on when there is no one else in a one-mile vicinity?!? 55, 50...
  2. That's rather strange. NoLimits Mac comes in a .dmg.
  3. When you download a CFR, it's usually in a folder with the creator's name on it. Take the folder and copy/paste it in the following directory - C: > Program Files (x86) > Atari > RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 > Style > Custom If the folder "Custom" doesn't exist, create it in the "Style" directory.
  4. Two things - First, I really like how the vending machines are themed. I wish our parks would do that, but all I've seen are just generic vending machines covered with boxes. Second, it's rather strange to me that the lap bars on TDL's Splash Mountain are different from MK's. At least you are still able to squeeze three small-ish people in a row on MK's. That's always fun.
  5. They probably do know what they're doing - taking into account thermal expansion of heat.
  6. 9 frames per second. Holy [censored].
  7. Oh, great. Sometimes I wish I had a season pass... ...and a car.
  8. Yes, that is a great idea, but you have to start somewhere. You can't just add in a new attraction to your recreation if the original isn't finished. It's better to be a season behind when you're doing a recreation anyway. The longer it's been since the ride opened, the more pictures you can compare your work to!
  9. Okay, so, this is a great idea. The only thing I did was rename the thread to "The Prefab Coaster Thread" since it's open sharing.
  10. You need to get something straight - Magic Kingdom does not cater to thrill-seekers. It caters to families. The tallest height restriction in the entire park is Space Mountain at 44". The Magic Kingdom and Disneyland were both founded on the principle that parents and children should be able to play together. Every attraction in the park is accessible to every little child that can walk on two legs - save for Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, Stitch's Great Escape, and Tomorrowland Speedway. The Ghost is spot-on - a theme park doesn't have to be about the roller coasters. ANYWAY - back on topic, DelGrosso's needs to either build or get rid of the old Revolution. It's been sitting around long enough - either they make money to put towards another attraction by selling it, or possibly earn some more money by operating it.
  11. It's outrageous! Coming soon, from AJ.
  12. I actually don't mind It's a Small World because I'm a music person. I can recognize that it's not the same lyrics over and over and that each room is essentially a variation on the theme (Except maybe that last room, stacked boats get annoying). The US Disney parks are better to me for one reason - the fairy godmother is a fun old woman, and not someone with a creepy face.
  13. Then, the critics and safety buffs are going to end up confusing safety with intensity, citing G-LOC grey-outs and black-outs as a safety issue. Then, the only new roller coasters built in the US in 2020 will end up being Japanese-style forceless jet coasters with eighteen-point over-the-shoulder restraints and catwalks along the entire length of the track on both sides. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating. But I'm sure there are plenty of people who think G-LOC on roller coasters is a safety issue.
  14. Those are roof pieces from shyguy's Water World set.
  15. Yes, I am that second person. I'm sure this isn't feasible, but I really wish the United States Disney parks major attractions (Tower of Terror, Space Mountain, etc) had different story lines from each other like DisneySea's Hightower Tower of Terror and Paris' Discoveryland Space Mountain. It would really make the experiences all unique and promote guests to go to all the parks around the world instead of having an "I've gone to one and I've seen them all" attitude.
  16. Quite possibly, we could have two projects going on at once.
  17. Putting Spellcaster under a preservation order? What's going to happen when the reliability eventually goes by the wayside, CPM? I immediately repaid my loan and I'm now sitting in May of Year 2 with ~$8,000 in ride tickets...
  18. I wish B&M would use the "floor, but close to nothing else" trains like on Wildfire on their newer coasters.
  19. I remember when I was younger and heard of Aquatopia I had thought that it was a "bumper boats" style attraction and you drove the boats yourself.
  20. I finally got my lazy bum around to buying my own ticket.
  21. IMO, the sign placed at the ride's entrance should be the rules to abide by, no matter what inconsistencies the website may have. You should at least have the common sense to read the rules if you even think that you may be in danger if you ride the ride. That's what bothers me about the general public of the US. No one bothers to read or listen to safety warnings, and then it's automatically the park's fault if something happens.
  22. There we go. Looks great. Can't wait to see the whole thing.
  23. Yes, I myself did get bored watching the screen go up and down that many times. I'm sure it would be a different story in real life, but NoLimits is NoLimits. As for the length, I originally planned to end the ride like this - Ignore the classic steel looping track, I just pasted the element in on a blank screen. There were two things wrong with it though - the first was that the hill going under the lift was mis-shapen. The second was that the ride ended up being extremely short! Compared to other sub-hypercoasters like Expedition GeForce, it was very short in length. I experimented with a few layouts until I made the one that is seen in the final product, which I think is better because of the interaction with the station and queue. And, yes, I know, train stacking is a no-no. I just like the three colors. Thanks for the input. Oh, and RD, if you think this ride's bowl is Anton-approved, you'll flip when you see the signature element on my next coaster Outrage.
