more like we didnt see a train fly by as we drove down the strip and i said "oh guess it's closed" i wasn't really feeling Manhatten Express tonight...

Just got back two seconds ago! Well something like that at least. Didn't go on M.E. wasn't running...we were going to stop at Stateline but we didn't so I missed out on Desperado...no biggie though. We did manage a ride on Speed. A little rougher going into the high banked turn than I remember, but still fun. Though last time I was there I didn't feel like I paid too much because I got two rides for the price one. Not this time...anyways yeah it was a fun quickie, then we picked up my room mate and headed back home(only live and hour or so from Las Vegas).

well if ME is down, then oh well...lol. Desperado is one on the list as well... not as fun as it was when I first rode it, but I still catch some airtime right before the mid brakes... what I am really looking forward to is Speed... thanks guys... well i'll be heading out in about 30 mins... talk to you all later

sigh.... i still may try it then... maybe. If my buddy still wants to go it, I'll just take a bottle of asprin with me and hope for the best. Last time I rode I felt like I was in 3rd grade again getting beat up by the school bully.

Going to try and hit Desperado, Speed, and Manhatten Express before we pick up my room mate from the airport. One question... has anyone been been on M.E. since it gotten the new trains? If so, does anyone know if the new trains made a differnet at all in the roughness of the ride? If it hasn't I am not going to even bother.

This would be most awesome if I wasn't completely terrified of water slides or water parks for that matter. Does look like fun though.

It did hurt.. a lot, but I still enjoyed it. I remember when I was younger it was a lot more fun, but that could be because it was my first wooden rollercoaster.

Oh I agree. I remember last year my room mates and I took a trip out to Magic Mountain. One of the guys and I looked up at Flashback and saw all the rust and just imagined riding it in that state would be like. We kind of new then that it was going to be a gonner.

Well, I am actually kind of sad that Flashback and Psyclone are going. It was inevitable, but I actually liked those two rides. Dah, well it's true they both havn't been very popular. Those poor battered and worn rollercoasters. I do home though that the park does upgrade their flat rides and maybe one day get a dark ride. RIP Psyclone and Flashback

Hello, so I've actually been a forum member for quite some time now, but I never got around to posting. Now that I am becoming more active, I'd figure I better finally post here. My name is Gabe I live up in the High Desert (about two hours or so away from any amuesment parks). It's kind of funny, I used to be terrified of rollercoasters, but now I can't stop riding them. I total coaster count is around 44 or so (not much I know, but I rarely get out of southern california or nevada). Hopefully my count will rise in the near future. Heck, I don't know what else to say, except "Hello" and that I really love this site!

It snowed up here where I live in Barstow (Barfstow) two years ago and it stuck for a couple of days. This year because it has been getting so cold, the pipes froze at my job and flooded our store and we had to close down for the day. Someone told me that a couple of other places had water pipes that burst as well. The way I see it, I wish it would snow again if it were to be this cold out here.

This makes me pretty sad. The Munsters was a great show. RIP

Awesome TR man! Going to Disneyland in Feb. with a few friends. I have seen an onride video of Rockin Space Mt and I wasn't impressed at all! We'll expirence Acid Trip Mountain soon enough though. Love the pics of Fantasmic I havn't seen that show since I was 10 years old. One question though... what happend to Big Thunder? Is down for the time being?
