Ya, we rode back seat, we've gotten used to it from all those Goliath (SFOG) rides. Dont get me wrong, the overall park was fun, I just thought most of the major rides were mediocre. A good park overall. -

Ok, after we finished holiday world we headed to Chicago to go hit up Six Flags Great America. I have never been to the park, so I didn't know what to expect. It took us a while to get to Chicago, and when we did there was tons of traffic. When we finally got to SFGAM it was about four. We got in and headed to Whizzer. It was pretty neat, but no real thrills. We waited about 15 minutes. Then we headed to Raging Bull. I was most excited about this ride. We waited 20 minutes for it. I knew that the trim was there, but I was not aware how much it slowed you down. The trim absolutly kills the ride. I was very dissapointed. Next we went to giant drop. This is a very fun intamin drop tower. There was no line for this. Then we headed to Viper, which was walk on. I was also very dissapointed after riding this. Many people love this ride, but I found it can not even compair to the Georgia Cyclone. There is no real airtime, except on one hill close to the end, unlike the GA cyclone. After that we went to American Eagle. We rode both sides, and both times I was dissapointed. It was fairly boring, with little airtime. The helix was taken to slowly too. Next we did Iron Wolf. I thought this ride would be fairly smooth since it was a B&M, but man was I wrong. It was very painful. Not fun at all. So far we are 0 for six at Great America, and I desperatly hope it will get better. Next we rode Spacely's Sprocket Rockets. It was an OK kiddie coaster. Then we did Batman. I liked it, but I like SFOG's version better. SFOG's que and gothom city are better, and the actuall ride is a little more intence. Next was V2. I had been on Wicked twister, so I knew what to expect. The first ride I got on it was ok when we were near the back, but the second ride I got was in the front, and was much better. So far the best ride of the day. Next we had dinner. I had a Gyro, which was a gamble, but turned out OK. Then we rode Superman Ultimate Flight. I also like SFOGs version better because it has close calls with the ground and has tunnels, unlike SFGAM's. Then we rode Ragin Cajun, which was a pretty good spinning wild mouse. Then we did Demon. I was scared to ride it because there was almost a 100% chance of pain, but I did not hit my head once. I actually liked this ride. It is also the most photogenic ride in the park. Last we did Deja Vu. I had never done SFOG's deja at night, and I found it a little more fun at night, as I do with most coasters. After that we just did a few flats until the parks closed. Eventhough the rides were not great, I still had fun. and here is the not quite as innovative, but still sorta cool Superman Ultimate Flight. Signature silhouette shot And here is a picture of a vertical loop on an inverted coaster with a cool looking octopus with a bug on its head infront of it. and here is the first ever vertical loop on an inverted coaster. yay more inovation on the same coaster This people is the first ever heartline twist. Yay inovation Batman was voted an ACE coaster landmark last year I guess. Thats cool. Here is a fun little spinning wild mouse. You spin around and around, and it is really fun. This is blur shot #2 for the trip And it is fun. What d ya know? And here we are at V2. It looks fun. Yay for walk on kiddie credit They have two kiddie sections here, Camp Cartoon and bugs bunny land, but only one kiddie credit. Look how red the ear is, LOOK AT IT! I don't know how you can bang your head while going relativly straight while on this thing, but you do. Here we are at Iron wolf, the only painful B&M I have been on, and I have been on my fair share of B&M's Apparently they were planning for huge crowds on the American eagle because the que is huge, but when we were there they couldn't even fill half a train. This is a picture of American Eagle's sign. It looks cool Why are these things always closed where ever I go That corkscrew should be painful, but its not More not painfulness Yay for not painful demon! This is a picture of Viper in case you were wondering We saw this scary barrol with as skull and cross bones on it in Viper's station. I don't think you would want to eat or drink what is inside of there if you value your life This is vipers sign Horray Giant Drop Boo Raging Bull trim Random people on Raging Bull Um, this is Raging Bull's sign. Ya, on Deja Vu you are pulled up the NINTY DEGREE spike! Here are some random people getting ready to ride whizzer. Here is the Whizzer in all of its Schwarzkopf glory You see this beautiful double decker carousel right at the front of the park. We will not be riding this though This is Soldier Field. We saw it while driving through Chicago. This is where Da Bears play. -

thanks. I will be posting SFGAM soon -
Ok, so our grandparents had a couple reunions in Indiana and Wisconsin, so we went with them and went to Holiday world, SFGam, Mt. Olympus, Timber Falls, and Beech Bend. This our first real TR. Enjoy! First Park- Holiday World after driving about six hours from Atlanta, We got to Holiday world, but had to wait about an hour to get the after-four discount. So we went over and checked in to Santas Lodge. Right at four we got our tickets and headed straight for Raven, walk on. After hearing about how amazing it is, and how crazy the airtime is, it was a slight disapointment. Dont get me wrong, its still top ten, but I was very excited and was thinking it would probably get top three at least. Next, we headed over to legend. It also was walk on. This caoster AMAZED me. It was my number one coaster after we got off. That would change very soon. It was time. Voyage is so huge and intimidating. we got in about a 15 minute line, and got in the second to last row, with two trains running. This is the greatest coaster in the history of the Earth. Every thing is amazing. Incredible airtime on every hill. And I mean every hill, and every change of height, including the little drops during the turnaround. The out-of-control feeling is crazy. It is so intense the entire ride from lift to brakes, except the barely-even-slowing-you-down-ish MCBR. There is not one thing bad anyone in their right mind could ever say against this ride. An easy #1 coaster in my book. We rode Howler, some flats and all the coasters numerous times, including the last five rides on legend. Oh ya, every park should do free soft drinks. (I am talking to you Six Flags.) We ate pizza for dinner and it was delicious. Two large slices of pizza, fries, and unlimited soft drinks, cost us a whopping 6 bucks. The next day, we did pretty much the same thing. Rode the rides, and we also went to the water park. We ate lunch out of the park and met with our grandfathers nephew. We went back, took some pictures, rode everything again, and left. Over all, Holiday world is my number one park. Onto pictures. I accidentaly posted them in backwards order, is there any way to switch them without redoing the whole thing? They had these signs as far away as Nashville. Obligatory water tower photo Obligatory Raven photo Obligatory Sign Photo. This is what we saw coming in. More than half of these people were at the water park. I dont really have much to say right now... look over there! (Waynes world Quote) The Raven Sign.. is cool. So is the tape leg, but never mind that. This is the "stop taking my picture, ok, I will give you a thumbs up anyway" face. This is the legend sign. This is the caption. First drop... THROUGH THE TREES! I guess we should... buy some wood... OOH OOH OOH yay its voyage time! Sometimes you duel right out of the station. Back car, of coure. Ya its like, tall and stuff. Blur shot #1 Turny!! At least we didn't have to wait in these. Signature first three hills shot! This is a fun shooting dark ride! I mean calling. Old Mrs. McSnoodle says we are CALLING turkeys. Exclusive first scene shot! 6 time Gobbler champ! The kid is thinking, I wish I was on Voyage. The Canoe is thinking, I wish I was Voyage. MMMMMM... Fudge YAY!!!!!! I can do this cause I am at holiday world. Hooray! my first flyers! I can't snap them though. through the trees! ya we rode that. And this. Bye Santa. Wait, why doesn't your belly jiggle like a bowl full of jelly? Driving out, you see alot of this. and every once in a while, one of these.

One time, when I was about to get on Great American Scream Machine at SFOG, I was about to sit down in my seat when the ride ops told everybody to get back into the que, and I looked down and there was a puddle of puke on the seat that I almost sat on. -
A few Six Flags Great America Questions.

I won't ride superman, because I live close to the original superman, and I dont want to ride the SFGAM one because there less near ground misses. You guys also may have convinced me to give V2 a shot. -

Seriously, how can you think Goliath is scary and be a coaster enthusiast. Also, the lap restraints are not small at all. Actually they cover your entire lap. They are very comfertable, and they let you experience tons of airtime. -
A few Six Flags Great America Questions.
easytoremember replied to easytoremember's topic in Ask Alvey
I am not going to do V2 because I did wicked twister, and I was not too impressed. I am not going to do Batman, because I have one 45 minutes away from me. Demon is a posibility, but does it hurt? Also what about Iron Wolf? Is that worth it? -

cut it out you guys. -
Ok, here are a few questions about SFGAM. First of all I am only going to be there for a few hours. I want to hit up Raging Bull, Whizzer, Viper, and American Eagle. Any sugestions of what else I should ride. Also, in what order should I ride?

The Elimination Game
easytoremember replied to apollo210's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Well, look at the people who have given points to SFOG. They were mainly people near SFOG. People just want their home park to win. I admit that I have also given SFOG points, even though CP is my favorite park. It just has a place in my heart, plus I think it has a better variety of roller coasters than CP does. -

What is your least favorite inversion?
easytoremember replied to Milkchan's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I dont like B&M corkscrews. I don't like any element/inversion on any arrow/vekoma coaster that has any sideways motion. -

How are the flyers at Holiday world? I heard they were not that good. Also, what makes flyers good or bad?
