  1. Admittedly I've currently got a little captain in me... but I don't know what the f**k you're talking about. Is it just me?
  2. That's a special kind of spoiled. I guess ten minutes for the best coaster in the park is entirely unacceptable at Dorney.
  3. Great photos. Especially of Sky Ride. Lol
  4. Lol at "line". That's maybe 10 minutes. And someone probably opened the switchback because they have a sarcastic sense of humor.
  5. There is nothing better than riding a coaster on a cool / cold night that makes you tear up. I'm not sure why that happens but it's awesome. Temperature and speed seem to be the biggest factors.
  6. If you really want to experience mufflehead season to the fullest, ride Gatekeeper at night. They love those white lights. It feels like riding a hypercoaster in the rain.
  7. At this point there are really only 3 rides that scare me. 1) The Conneaut Lake Blue Streak because someone IS going to die on that thing sooner rather than later. 2) The 300 foot Skycoaster in Kissimmee 3) Demom Drop, seriously. It's insane.
  8. Once you flatten out, keep your head forward. The ride utilizes a fair amount of slamming and crashing in order to lower back into an upright position. It adds to it's awesomeness though.
  9. No no no... OVER 2 1/2 hours. It just doesn't go any higher. See the little plus sign? Lol
  10. And Pandemonium and Sky Screamer have 5 minute waits. So this is on a day when the park is otherwise dead. I guess 150+ is where it tops out. I wonder how long it actually is It can't be stressed enough that this is a weekday and schools are in session. Also... that's not Scream. Your app sucks. Here is said picture from SFNE Online
  11. Yeah the interactive element is getting all of the attention but the snake enclosure in the queue is pretty awesome looking too.
  12. The thing that makes the flume cool is that it's a 100% terrain flume including the drop. It never really leaves ground level which makes it really unique.
  13. During Coasting for Kids we rode Steel Force for 2 hours consecutively (30 rides) without getting off (this was before they made you walk around. You never even had to stand up). After 6 rides on Talon we needed a break. We could have stayed on Steel Force all day
  14. I agree that Goliath is ridiculously forceless but trust me... Steel Force has it beat. At least Goliath has a decent helix which is one more interesting element than Steel Force will ever have. Serious question: Is there any coaster at Dorney worth being excited about? I've always wanted to go, but it sounds pretty underwhelming from what I'm reading in this thread! No. The only rides in the park worth getting excited about are the log flume and Demon Drop. Talon is solid for sure, but it's not worth traveling for. Dorney is fun though because since there are never lines you can gets tons and tons of rides in. The rides aren't spectacular but you don't ever have to wait for them and that's pretty cool. It's also a pretty nice, very well maintained park.
  15. Yeah even though Gemeni is a steel coaster I sort of apply the "Don't sit in a wheel seat" rule. I usually sit in the middle of the train to maximize hand slapping. Lol Gemeni is totally ignored but it's a ton of fun. It's absolutely the most underrated coaster at Cedar Point.
  16. Because the Baltmore Inner Harbor rules and Six Flags America sucks.
  17. I agree that Goliath is ridiculously forceless but trust me... Steel Force has it beat. At least Goliath has a decent helix which is one more interesting element than Steel Force will ever have.
  18. Nobody said Steel Force was bad. I'm a big fan of all mine train coasters... even Steel Force. The most forceless mine train ever except Trailblazer.
  19. If you enjoyed the Skyway then I forgive you... Boldikus though... that's a different story.
  20. Ahem... I believe there is a certain mythical and wonderful mountain that you failed to report on. I assume you rode in the back and were overwhelmed by the greatness? That would explain why you're speechless. PS: I love the name "Chang O Lantern".
  21. That's obviously photoshopped. I don't think so. It looks legit to me.
