  1. This chinese manufacturers are industry parasites. Remember the SLC that got stucked in the middle od the cobra roll due to the wind?... well, it was a Vekoma copy done by "The Golden Horse Company", one of these chinese manufacturers. They copy the ride but not the european knowhow and the safety, which is nowadays LIGHT YEARS from the china's one...
  2. This manufacturer is one of the WORST of it's kind in the world. They basically copy other manufacturers such as Vekoma, Togo, Intamin... This is the chinese technology: copy-paste.
  3. where do you see the new coaster? I only see what they're doing, the terrain movements to create new levels for the new area...
  4. How can it look something if they have not started building anything yet??!!
  5. Congratulations. Furius Baco is going 135km/h and Raptor 90km/h. Any differences?

  7. News from Pa-community, take a look inside the new area! Everything is ready for 8th april!Could this be the most AWSOME Sesame Street area ever??
  8. Furius Baco and this coaster can't be compared. For a lot of reasons. One of them is because FB is still the fastest roller coaster in Europe since 2007. Try to put this B&M trains to 135km/h. You'll have a "rough" surprise. I suspect that the Intamin wing rider train in the Raptor layout will be a very smooth ride.
  9. This coaster is the new model from Premier Rides called "Drifting coaster". That was already mentioned at the IAAPA. Minute: 3:10 Premier Rides sold a Drifting Coaster to a park in Abu Dhabi that is currently sitting in boxes.
  10. The "tower" looks very nice! Source: http://www.seaworldparksblog.com/cheetah-hunt-construction-update
  11. I would like to share this video. And I got a question after hear the pneumatic sound in the video at the final of the launch... do the catchcar brakes move in this coaster?
  12. The distance between the supports is the length of the train plus the safety area. The trains will be very similar to Furius Baco.
  13. Everything is getting ready! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=be0wmhylN7M
  14. This is why I really can't stand the news and early speculation. From what I gather this article was created with the headline attempting to make people believe that "There is a miscalculation of the weight of the anchor" and then if you actually read the article is says that inspectors have discarded that theory? Or am I reading it wrong? Here's an idea news people - how about reporting on something when you have REAL NEWS to report - not just making headlines for the sake of making headlines? But then we all know the purpose of the news is 90% fabricated drama, because everyone loves drama and 10% factual news. --Robb Inspectors said that the base wasn't deteriorated and the materials were correct, but the mistake in the calculation is not discarted.
  15. A new interesting notice: http://www.3cat24.cat/noticia/774047/catalunya/Tecnics-del-Tibidabo-van-revisar-El-Pendol-quatre-hores-abans-de-laccident-per-un-soroll-estrany translation with google:
  16. Here you can see a video with some images from the base of the ride. http://www.rtve.es/noticias/20100718/siguen-ingresadas-dos-heridas-del-accidente-del-tibidabo-dan-alta-herido-leve/340129.shtml
  17. There were some TPR members working in the park that day. Actually the park has not allowed the staff to talk to the press, but I hope we can read soon the reviews of the workers. Also, it appears some more info about it. The notice says that some visitors told the stechnicians that there were some "strange sounds" from the ride. So, several hours before the accident, the ride was checked by the maintenance of the park, and also did some empty cycles. In fact, due to the weight and the movement of the arm, the tower moves a lot. People don't realize that this kinds of movements are normal and seems that this kind of observations are very usual in the park. Because the movements of the tower. But all rides move, as the wooden coasters, the ZacSpin coaster... I mean, that's normal. But, in these case, seems that the screws were doing some strange noises.... Here the notice by tv3.cat With Google Translation:
  18. If we are talking about a B&M design... seems logical to think that it will be a launched coaster (because if the ride is 30m heigh maximum, that can't give any speed to the train). I would think that the sistem is pretty equal as the one in Hulk. The Tire Propelled Launch Looking at the heights of the Hulk coaster, it's 33,5 meters tall. Plus the announcement says that there will be some zero g elements, it won't be difficult to think that there are some zero g rolls in tle layout... even in the very end of the launch, as the Hulk coaster do. Moreover, the rumours in Port Aventura about a new dive machine project (that now seems to be rejected) said that in the layout there was a big zero g roll. If we compare the "wing rider" coaster and the Dive machine car, the sensation of the passangers would be similar. So, I think that there will be some zero g rolls in the layout.
  19. Some new facts about the new coaster by B&M. With a new official render. But.... there's even more!! The official render! You can find the original photo of Furius Baco from RCDB http://www.rcdb.com/3430.htm?p=19980
  20. My favorite coaster train is the Furius Baco "wing rider" design. That's a nice experience to seat anywhere in the train and have a lot of distance between the front seats, and it gives a very good vision of the ground. And they also look great and modern.
  21. OK, so a year later there is no notices about this coaster... even though the website announces it (also as the fastest coaster in the world)... Does anyone knows when this coaster will be opperating?

  23. Does this image reveals it all?
