verticalzero Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Is the 3rd row from the front always the best seat for when riding a wood or steel coaster..? What seat is best apart from the Front or Back..?
phazan Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 I'm not sure about that, I *think* the further you get to the middle the less airtime, but I could be wrong.
kennywood!007 Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 I personally like the back on most coasters. The front is awesome on any coaster! But unfortunately none of the front seats I have experienced had a bunch of airtime
24 Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 On rides like Xcelerator, the middle has the most airtime.

In the front seat, you may not get much airtime in the front seat (depending on the height), but it may boost you forward going back up a hill. The back seat has always been my favorite seat.
socalMAN123 Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Actually, on most coasters, seat numbers 11 and 13 have done the most magic for me. ^^On Xcelerator, I think the back gets the most airtime. I've sat on every seat on the and the last seat on the right tends to get a lot of airtime. ---Brent
metal420 Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 ^ I rode storm runner not too long ago and sat on about every part of the train, and the back definitely had the most airtime, it was insane! Magnum had a lot in the third row which I'm assuming you got this idea from, but I dont think you can say that about every coaster.
Wes Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Third row is where I got the best airtime on SROS at SFNE.
zingo Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 I personally like the back on most coasters. The front is awesome on any coaster! But unfortunately none of the front seats I have experienced had a bunch of airtime Go to Walibi World, the last three bunny hops give some serious airtime!
steel Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 The front has more airtime on Avalanche. Apollo's Chariot has wicked air in the third row.
easytoremember Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 I also like the back row, but on goliath at SFOG row 6 is a nice combination of floater and ejector airtime
