I think any par of Nike Running Shoes are good.... I wore a pari to Geauga Lake on May 31 and had no problems the whole day. They had squishy bottoms

I keep my shoes loose and slide them on and off without loostening them, and they have never flown off. The only time I've been worried about them coming off is on inverted rides that go backwars like Deja Vu, but I just pressed my feet together and had no problems.

Ya, I rode X with VERY loose Sk8er Shoes and they didn't come off. But if he really loves his shoes, he should just take them off.

I wear sandals, and suprisingly, they hardly fall off. I can wear just about anything, if my feet start to hurt, oh well. They usually go numb when the pain sets in. So all is good.
