So, yeah, this was after World Poker Tour, and Son Of Beast is on it.

Son Of Beast is one of the top 10 megastructures in the world? What, there were no skyscrapers or anything? Couldn't choose Millennium Force?

Son of Beast may apparently suck, but hey, a woody with a loop that people don't fall out of! Thats pretty good IMO.

 

Don't froget, skyscrapers aren't touristy, and PKI probably payed that show to have them on it.

Yeah. I watched that during an earlier showing. I think it was an old show since it showed alot of opening day footage, and none of their MoA shots had the new coaster in them. I'm guessing they caught SoB rather than an Intamin because:

1. AMERICAN made, as opposed to Intamin making stuff over in Europe.

2. The amount of wood needed to construct it.

SOB is one lovely wood structure to look at, but why make it so rough, could the Park try to flatten out the roughness of it.

 

Is the roughness caused by the trains,wheel,speed or just not built together correctly.

 

Should of got GCI in build it and have a 250ft high "twister/out n back with a vertical loop" style.

It's probably the speed on wood. Is El Toro rough? Whatever. Intamin makes rides as smooth as butter, but even Millennium Force gets rough after the first drop. And my vision was shaking on TTD's launch.

It's because SOB is just a big classic style wooden coaster. El Toro has pre-fabricated steel track for a dramtically better ride (as far as the reviews have said so far) If Intamin retracked SOB with this style track it would be a beautiful thing.

Son of Beast is one of, if not the, largest wooden structure ever made, so I can see it being on this show.

Yeah I saw this. I turned it on when SoB was on it and I got all excited cause I thaught it was a Roller Coaster show...then I was like awww lol But yeah I think it derserved to be on there.
