CP_RULES Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 This is my first NL coaster that I really used a lot of tools on. I finally figured out the AHG, and I also used the smoother, and elementary. However, most of this ride is hand made. Insanity is a 220 foot tall B&M hyper coaster with a daring 80* drop. Insanity reaches 75mph in its 5150 foot long track. Also, it includes a 540* helix and over 90* banking. The awesome helix thing This picture makes it look like an invet, but its not The drop and stuff Insanity.nltrack
Vekoma Fan Boy Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 Same here. I like what i see in the screenshots though.
Guest Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 this AHG, smoother and etc... what are these? where are they and what are they used for??? once again cool coaster
Loefet Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 ^ It´s program for people that take the "easy" way out, but they can also destroy a track. It´s better to every thing yourself. About the track quite good, some rough spots with bad jerks. Don´t pass e-stop test. Quite realistic layout.
Guest Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 ah righty, so basically its for lazy people who can't be bothered doing all the hard work
CP_RULES Posted May 30, 2006 Author Posted May 30, 2006 ah righty, so basically its for lazy people who can't be bothered doing all the hard work No No No No No! Its for people who either A: want perfection and highest realistic-ness or B: can't do it themselves I used the tools sparingly for only places where I thought necessary, most of the track is hand made. Im pretty sure only the lift and drop are elementary made (to ensure an exact 80* drop and straightness). Also, the AHG was used in the helix, the over 90* bank, and the ending turn. I only use tools to help to make my coaster more precise. However, this is my first "tool crazy" coaster.
coasterlover420 Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 I seem to have noticed since you used the AHG, the transitions are poorly designed. I would also suggest curving the entire drop instead of putting a straight piece down 80 degrees. There is also an "I" key on your keyboard. You should use it when making lift hills. Nice job!
Guest Posted May 30, 2006 Posted May 30, 2006 its ok, I found them helps if I search more, this AHG does this stand for AutoHeartline Generator???
ShoubraStreet74 Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 I seem to have noticed since you used the AHG, the transitions are poorly designed. The transitions aren't bad because of the AHG. Some of the transitions are messy because of the transition from AHG to non-AHG sections. (beginning of the helix, overbank before the helix which was half AHG and half not) Also, I think there should have been a bit more filtering used on the transition to forced bank (end of the helix) and some of the sections were taken at too slow a speed (the helix area). A "bad" time to use the tools would be the first drop, which if I'm not mistaken was formed using the hill section elementary wizard and a straight piece. It's totally OK to use AHG in my opinion. It's not a "lazy" way out. When used correctly, it offers realism that just can't be achieved by hand. Just as much effort goes into a well made AHG coaster. Fairly good job though, it was pretty good.
Guest Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 cheers, http://www.whizzkidsnolimits.co.uk/tools.htm which one of these are useful? I have elementry and AHG any other good ones? The construction kit looks ok
hazzaman Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 I like the design but abit to short but other than that good!
