Memorial Day Crowds

Does anyone have any experience with how bad crowds will be on Memorial Day? I'm thinking about going to Disney on Monday, since I have a day left on a Park Hopper that expires June 1st. Sonce I have my Senior Breakfast on Tuesday and my Senior Awards night on Wednesday, it's looking like either tommorrow or Monday. Any advice?

Yeah it will probably be pretty crowded, especially if you go to Animal Kingdom.

I hate to change the subject a little, but how do you think crowds will be tomorrow, Sunday, at SFOG?

Probably on Sunday, it will be more crowded. Just get there early before the parks open, and you will do fine.

The surprising thing to me is, gas around here has gone down an average of 8 cents over the past 5 days.

If it is anything like last week, those first couple of hours at SFoG are totally dead.

today I went to Mt Olympus, which is a BIG tourist attraction, and it was DEAD! We got walk on for Hades and Opa. But the ride Ops for Hades were a real pain with the whole camera thing. I asked the first op, she said it was fine, and when I got on, the other op said that I couldnt have it so she took it.

 

But then again, the waterpark was more crowded then the coaster area.

Disney may not be the place to be. (Actually, Orlando in general, there are events at all the parks!) I know GayDays starts on the 30th, the day after, and runs through the 4th. Some early circuit partys begin on Monday, so you might have to wait in line behind Big Gay Bob in a red shirt or something, if that stuff offends you, avoid it all week.
