TPR official or unofficial event for Hershey's 100th?

After doing a search with not much luck, I thought I'd ask...

 

Any thoughts on the possibility of a TPR event (either official or unofficial) for Hershey's 100th anniversary next year? I'm going anyway next year, but I think a TPR shindig (again, official or otherwise) would be very cool.

They're advertising 2007 as their hundredth...I don't know if the park has any specific events planned, so my question was geared more toward "something during the '07 season."

It's possible. Once we get the UK trip out of the way we'll be announcing a bit more of our plans for 2007. We've got a lot of ideas, but we have to be realistic about what we can actually do!

^^ Yeah, I understand...that's why I included "unofficial" in my question so that if anyone has plans to go next year, maybe some of us can just try to get there around the same time. I'll be looking forward to anyone else's thoughts on this!

Wait, I didn't think Elissa was a big fan of Hershey!! "Stupid prairie dog" If anything people should visit the Swing man at Clementon this year for their 100th year anniversary.

Yeah, with Elissa's "Love" of Hershey, I think she'd choose to have the Hershey 100th TPR celebration at like Holiday Park or something instead! Heck, I'd attend!

 

Don't worry, Elissa, you can always accompany us beer lovers to Troegs instead of hanging out at Hershey, no new credits anyway.

Hershey is a great park. It's really nice, clean, well run, and has a nice collection of rides. Storm Runner is the best ride there, but all the coasters are fun. You'll have a good time. I haven't been there in two years or so, but need to make the trip back at some point, as it's not that far from where I live.

I'm moving from Louisiana to Connecticut this summer and I'm really excited to be much closer to SFNE, Dorney, Hershey, etc. Hopefully my first TPR event will be for Hershey's 100th!

^ Before we get too far off track (or too excited) about "TPR's Hersheypark Hundredth Anniversary Celebration," let's remember that I was only asking if there WERE any plans or if anyone had given it any thought...I don't think it's even really been considered yet.

 

In the meantime, when you start making your plans for SFNE, gimme a yell!

I hope they do have an offical TPR Hershey Park 100th anniversary event. I would convince my parents to take me. As well, I'll get my Hershey Credits .
