Hattuchili
Mission Space Is Lounching Yet Another Galactic Adventure! Now with 2 different trainings. Hey guys, in the last 2 days the CastMembers at Epcot could test the new version of Mission Space! It is not that intense. I was there and it was so lame for me, because there is no spinning. After the last excident they made the decision for a less intense ride! I am not sure if it was a good decision, but that is what they made! Maybe it is good for the guest, who are not sure, if it is to much for them! So they can first ride the new version and after that, if it was okay the old original version! Now you can choose from: Orange Team - More Intense Training This is the original thrilling voyage to Mars based on the astronaut training technique. or Green Team - Less Intense Training This new adventure is a less intense experience, featuring the same voyage to Mars without the spinning! So, I prefer the old original version! Anyway, from today everyone can go there and choose one of the two differnet versions! --Sören
Blue0ctane
Wouldn't more people be happy if they could sit in a side room and see the ride's projection? Because pulling an entire gravitron out of orbit just to serve the minority of guests that don't like to spin seems like it'll increase waits by a lot. coasterdude5
^Ha, doesn't sound like a bad idea. But I'll admit, I hate spinning so I'd probably be over there.
dadofgage
But it does mean good things for people like myself who have younger children who can ride because of their height but were not allowed to by their parents because of the intensity of the ride, can now have a new (and most likely) thrilling experience. I know that my son had begged to go on the ride, and now when we are at Disney next week, guess what ride we will be going on?
stingrock23
It sounds like a good idea. At least more people will be able to experience it, and they didn't change all of the centrifuges, so I have the option to ride the original.
Leekak
Surely taking out the spinning effect will lose the ride experience. Will you just sit in the pods and watch the movie? Great book me in for loads of that. NOT.

Stitch
I am very happy with this decision, it pacifys the complainers but doesn't neuter the ride
Thrillrider15
This was a smart decision Disney made. I guess they had to do something after what happened in the recent years. Even though it might increase the wait time. Maybe they should make a copy to pick up pace.
