Lord Kotowa Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 Welcome to the mystical world of Karakadon. Here you'll be taken away by the pather-like form of the beast for a heart pumping roller coaster ride, and when you think it's over, boy were you wrong, it drags you straight back from where you came from! So prepare yourself for the amazing Karakadon By Dave Hartley http://www.oaktowers.co.uk http://www.oaktowers.co.uk/nolimits/Karakadon.nltrack
DATman Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 This was quite enjoyable! I may have to try this now!
Blazen_AZN Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 While i doubt being launched backwards would be comfortable (same affect as abrubtly braking), it was still pretty good, a few odd jerks in the ride, but they could be seen more then they could be felt... and oh, this would be a capacity nightmare.
coasterlover420 Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 ^Are you kidding? Being launched backwards would be awesome! Just imagine yourself riding TTD or KK backwards. The effect would be amazing!! Dude, that was like the most fun I've ever had sitting at my computer watching NL coasters! The launch back is cool. There are some smoothing issues you could work on as well, but I love the concept!! And the layout is good too. Going backwards you con't expect what's gonna happen!
pepsie Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 Have you notice that when you launch how much g´s you feel, and if you want to launch backwards imagine how much painful it will be, like a vekoma with much (opposite) g´s and headbanging.
MARK Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 Well just imagine how much you get pushed back into your seat on a normal launch, and then translate that to your torso and gut getting whacked and crushed into an intamin OTSR at the same force...wouldn't be for me.
