verticalzero
We went to the opening of "Cobra" today, got there at 9.45am as the park opened at 10.00am, ran to the Cobra and there was only 5 people Qing, great front seat... had 25 rides in 3 hours The ride is great for a park size like Paulton's, you would never think a kiddies park would have a coaster like this. Lovely swooping 1st drop and then the mouse section which slams you into the sides. This is followed by the 360 downward Helix straight into a 360 upward helix, 3 bunny hops diving into a tunnel, the final downward helix into a smooth brake run. The park asked the local council for some of the ride to have an underground section but the council did not agree to this (Typical UK...), a shed is better than nothing, gives a good "headchopper" effect. I will send the Park an email to thank them for purchasing a wonderful ride, I have told a couple of staff a "Wooden" coaster is needed and it can only be 66ft high like "Falken". This would top the park and make Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures consider one. The BCC were there and they filmed a POV of the ride, I'm in the last pic waiting to go up the lift hill. Going back in April to see if any faster.. Enjoy the pic's:
Inferno Insane
Having just this min come in back from Paulton's. Was worth going for Cobra as this is what this park needed a decent coaster. Coaster wise the swooping 1st drop and the helix of death were great, 2nd half was fairly all right but needs to wear in as the airtime wasn't very noticeable really and was dead quite and smooth. After all that well glad I rode it and looking forward to more Gerstlauer Bobsled fun with G'sengte Sau / Heiße Fahrt and Vilda Musen sometime this year. must say the shed dose give a good megaphone effect for shouting random stuff Took a pov when I got time will posted it in the correct part. edit - Link for pov here http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23412

FishyFish
I'd seen pictures of that as it was being built. Looks like a pretty nice ride. Pity it's at the wrong end of the country for me. Oh well, I'll just have to DL the POV and pretend...
rcoasters
This coaster looks like so much fun! I think it would be a nice addition to any small park !
rollermonkey
This looks like a great addition to the park, and hopefully a foreshadowing of more to come. Now, if the day I go ride the Fuji-Q 4D is that dead, I'll be all set.
