I'm going to SFMM on May 20, and the 21 (Saturday & Sunday). I'll be going to an event on Sunday in which the following rides will have ERT.

Tatsu, X, Viper, Revolution, Scream, Goliath

Which rides have Flashpass and which have a single rider line? I just read in another post that Deja Vu has one, but are there any others? It might be the only way I can get to all the coasters. Also, which coasters tend to NOT get long lines on a Saturday? This will be a great help in planning my trip, thanks.

It really depends on the weekend. I've been there some weekends where there are no lines at all..I've been there other weeends where you can't get on a coaster in less than 1 1/2 hours.

I am not sure which event you are talking about because Sfmm does not have any special event Scheduled for the 21st of May. So i really have no idea what you are talking about with the event and the ert. So expect it to be slightly crowded but less crowded than on saturday. Only Deja Vu has a single rider line and i sujest that you use it because the line can get up to 2 hours on a non crowded day.

Only viper,Scream,Revolution,RR,Goliath, Collosus and other water rides will have Fastpass. I am not sure about Tatsu because its not even open.

Hope this helps!

Does the line for Superman still get insanely long? Is the other side open?

Thank you for the replies so far. I plan on hitting rides like Psyclone, Colossus, Goldrusher, Ninja, etc. on Saturday hoping the lines are tolerable and then the big machines on Sunday.

Any chance on Flashback seeing some life this spring?

Every time I've been to SFMM on a weekend or a holiday I've ended up leaving early because the lines are totally insane.

To answer your questions:

No, the other side of Superman still isn't open. I usually go during the day before and after spring break, and the line is usually halfway thru the queue. I can't really vouch for weekends, though.

And Flashback's been discussed in another thread lately; I don't really see it opening anytime soon, based on what was said there.

Hope this helps.

Supermans line can get a little long but nothing to worry about. It usually anywhere from 30 minutes to and hour on weekends. The other side has opened but don't expect it to be opened because the last time i went on superman the other sides train was actually out of the station. And last but not least, Flashback will Not be operational! Looks like your gunna have a great trip!

11 Days to go until my trip... Looks like I'll be missing Mulholland Madness. Ghostrider, (and obviously Flashback)

One question though... and I'm sorry I have to ask this... Has Deja Vu been running at all? Or is it scheduled to open soon? Thanks! (Never been on a giant inverted boomerang)

Beautiful, thanks for the answer. Too bad Ghostrider at Knott's will be down for maintenance... Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll finish up early.

I love how they chose to devote plenty of space to the entire MENU for the picnic on that ACE flyer. Too bad I'm not a member and am not really interested in membership aside from this event. Any friendly ACE members out there interested in letting me be thier guest?

Posted

Well, the only reason I even joined ACE was to attend this event. I can only go to SFMM that weekend as I have to be in LA that week. To me, it's worth it just to get the ERT done at a park I have never been to. Tatsu, X, Goliath, Scream, Revolution, etc. will have ERT both morning and night.

I would offer to take you as my guest but I already have two with me.

Try to find someone to get you in!

that makes sense. SFMM is my home park and the only ride on that list which is new for me is Tatsu (obviously) but thats going to change on media day .

Thanks for the courtesy! I wouldn't want to take away any guest spots from people you know in person instead of over the internet. Not that I'm one of THOSE guys, but its still much appreciated.

How much is membership BTW? Maybe I should consider it.

Seeing as this will be your first trip to the mountain I'm sure you're going to have an absolute blast. Its rides live up to thier reputation, and everything else (themeing, security, odds and ends) are quickly improving lately. I bid thee good coastering

Also, admission for the event is $25 for a season passholder in ACE, my girlfriend and her friend pay $35 as she has a season passholder but is not in ACE (guest)
