MarkyMark13
Ok sorry about my post robb, anyways i'll try to be more detailed. I live in maine, and I heard people talking about this guy who is building a huge amuesment park in northern maine. I'm not sure where, but my dad is a truck driver and he says there is a ton of land near and just north of the sebago lake region, and he says that they are surverying the land and they put markers all over the place. Also there was a town meeting for a permit to install traffic lights on roads near the land, the project was listed as a "tourist attraction" so it didn't really say much, but I heard it was a new theme park. I was just wondering if anyone else has heard of what they are building there? I would appreciate any feedback.
SharkTums
Feedback... Better description, but you only had one giant sentence that I had to go through and edit! Please try a bit harder, thank you.

SharkTums
I don't think we knew that English was your second language. As I said, this post was much better, so don't worry. We have some members in Maine, maybe they can help you out.
rollermonkey
^ Wow, upstate Maine? That seems a bit off the trail to support a theme park unless it was fairly small. The season would be fairly short, too. I'd say... CanobieFan, you got your ears on, good buddy? What do you know about this here rumor?
QuakerOaties
Yeah, Maine definitely cannot support a major theme park. A nice small park would be perfect though! Mark "Maybe one day I'll actually visit Maine" Luskus
ECZenith
I could see another park surviving in Maine. Funtown USA seems to be doing pretty well, they've added an S&S tower a couple years ago, and those can't be too cheap.
Canobie Fan
CanobieFan, you got your ears on, good buddy? What do you know about this here rumor? lol I dont know anything about this.. But look at the 2 ""parks"" Maine has now... Both are what 3 miles from each other.. And both are 99% fair rides.... Only thing funtown has going for itself is one kickass CCI.... So if the parks in the south dont have much I cant see how anything in the north would last. Canobie "I was just in Maine this weekend and well.." Token Yankee Guy
^ Yeah, visiting me. Well, I go to school in Bangor which is on the outskirts of the Downeast Region. I never heard of any big amusement park while I've been up here. Where is the Sebago Lake Region exactly? Because if it isn't near say, Augusta, Waterville, Newport, and Bangor...hah well, it's screwed. Ok, I just looked up where Sebago Lake is, and it's near Portland in Southern Maine. So maybe it will have a chance since Southern Maine is more populated than Northern Maine. (i.e. North Portland and north of that)
