The Mine Train also used to go through the "Dazzling Rainbow Caverns," which were full of colorful waterfalls. The opening tunnel and lift hill on BTMM pays homage to that, I think.

Don't know if this is still there, but one of the old mine trains is a wreck that's been covered by a landslide along the Rivers of America.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I would MUCH rather seen Disneyland BULLDOZE the submarine lagoon and get something like an "Expedition Everest" or "Journey To The Center Of The Earth" in it's place.

Or the more likely option, Pooh's Playful Spot V2. I'd prefer to still have subs.

You do realize that the Pooh's Play area takes up about 1/10 of the land the subs sat on.

I would not rule out "larger expansion plans" for that area in the future.

I've never heard of the Mine Train or the Rocket to Mars rides... could someone fill me in on what they were?

I'm not too clued up on the Mars ride, but the next best thing is Space Mountain: Mission 2 at the Paris Resort, which is loosely based around getting to Mars, or so I've heard.

I put "other" because I think Disneyland has gotten stale and is in need of a brand new attraction that hasn't been at any other park, and Nemo subs don't count because that's just a re-themed version of a pre-existing attraction

Is that even possible? How freakin' big was that thing!?!? Unless you were exaggerating...

I have no idea how big the "Pooh" area is, but the 20,000 Leagues ride was more than just the lagoon (which was pretty good size). There's a whole other section that you can't see--the building the subs entered and exited through the waterfalls (like the Disneyland Subs).
