FlyingScooter Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Coasters are like women: The more you ride 'em... you can finish the sentence anyway you like.
viking86 Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Like what someone smart in this thread said, if a coaster isn't heartlined or better yet, isn't heartlined "properly" than this will cause problems to riders, the wheel assembly and the track. Take the Cyclone at Dreamworld for example, it's not heartlined, and it's as rough as guts. You can have perfectly smooth coasters that are not heartlined. They might be throwing the passengers around a bit more, but I wouldnt call it rough. Just look at this picture http://www.yeah7.com/photos/2005/vidampark/imagepages/image54.htm Does it look heartlined? No. Is it rough? Not even close!

krouvi Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 I think it is a question of restrains. Good restraints that support your neck and head properly can make a big change. Space mountain paris is kind of rough ride but you don't feel it becasue the seats and restrains so good.
