Coasterkid20
I see what you're saying but it was okay on Kingda Ka. Xcel would be no problem. Yeah, leave stuffed animals etc. in the bin or locker. They just need consistency with their policy. First off I'm assuming you are talking about a consistency in Intamin Policy. Well I am not going to try to disagree with you but there is something to consider: just because they are made by the some company and share definate similarities, it does not mean that they employ the same degree of forcefulness. Kingda Ka may have greater negative forces and what not, but you shouldn't really fault Knott's for covering their own backs. Though I have not ridden Kingda Ka, I have personally ridden Xcelerator at least 100 times (thanks to 3 consecutive Solace trips), and personally I wouldn't ever think it would be a good idea to wear glasses on that ride. The forces are just to extreme to think that glasses with 2 nose pieces and marginal ear hooks could always stay on. They may stay on 24 out of 25 times, but if on that twentifith time they came off and hit someone.......

What he's trying to say is that his friend got on TTD, which is at a Cedar Fair park, but couldn't go on Xcelerator. They are both made by Intmain, but the lady at the stand said it was policy! I totally agree with you Majorwoodie! ---Brent 8)
Guy T. Koepp
I like Knott's I go 3 to 4 times a year. I have never had rude employees or the likes. For those of you that have never been. I encorage you to go. It's alot of fun. Guy "Am I just lucky?" Koepp
Majorwoodie
Yes, Koepp, Kim Possible is HOT! And when we rode X last week, all I could think of is that video! We even pretended our Six Flags bag was moving around on its own. If you go to Cedar Point and ride Wicked Twister, TTD, or Millennium Force, there is an announcement saying "Glasses must be secured with an athletic strap" I just want to know which poicy is in effect. Intamin (no glasses whatsoever) or Cedar Fair (must be secured with an athletic strap) Thanks Brent 8) -Chris
momo1tx
Hersheypark made me take my glasses off on Storm Runner. I wish I had contacts then. I think the CF parks make the decisions park by park on some things, and this may be one of those things.
