coasterdude5 Posted December 22, 2005 Author Posted December 22, 2005 ^That doesn't work, I've already tried it.
coasterdude5 Posted December 24, 2005 Author Posted December 24, 2005 Here's a tiny update: Â I have recreated everything. It took me almost 2 hours to rebuild Tremore' just so it would fit back in. The town square is identical (except for the trees) The only major change is that I shifted the track storage area a little bit. Â And now the moment you've been waiting for: The big announcement... Â MAGNUS Once ruler of one of Europe's finest... Now he raids the villages of the deep. Riders will board massive trains, suspended below the track, and will journey from elevation changes of 90 feet into a vertical loop, zero-g roll, and a dive-loop. This brand new monster includes a one-of-a-kind drop, changing direction three times. Â Construction has already begun and should finish up well before the grand opening of Geboldi Europe. There's what's left of Razu... Scenery hasn't been put in yet.
coaster_type_of_person Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 Sweet, i like the invert! Hope you continue with this. Love it!
coasterdude5 Posted December 31, 2005 Author Posted December 31, 2005 Sorry everybody for the lack of updates. With the holidays, and the attachments not working. I'll have updates soon! Â But the park has released a bit of information on their next attraction. Apparently it will be some type of launched coaster/ dark ride. More info soon!
music11 Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 What happened to the razu wooden pieces? Were they put on the already there wooden coaster or are you making a new one? although your park is looking good.
coasterdude5 Posted January 1, 2006 Author Posted January 1, 2006 ^It's now being used as transfer track for the wooden coaster.
Corkscrewy Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Lookin good. Although I must say that on the Invert... you have a Immalemen or however you spell it. When really, its a Dive-Loop. Â I'm technical I know, but it looks good.
coasterdude5 Posted January 6, 2006 Author Posted January 6, 2006 Looks like the latest news on the park: Â - Opening day has been pushed back now, so it will open in about two "RCT" years. Â - Two attractions have been confirmed: an indoor launched looping coaster and an interactive dark ride.
coasterdude5 Posted February 19, 2006 Author Posted February 19, 2006 Here's the latest rumors: Â The new indoor / launched ride MIGHT be DRAG from Geboldi Studios but I HIGHLY doubt this due to its height and its low reliability. I'm guessing a family indoor launched ride. Â The dark ride has been confirmed. It will be some sort of family ride in the Rhine River area. Â Stay close for pictures!!
coasterfreak101 Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Sweet. What did DRAG do? I never really got a good idea of the layout. Â The dark ride sounds cool. And will the invert have theming? Â Keep up the great work!
coasterdude5 Posted February 19, 2006 Author Posted February 19, 2006 Here are some pics of DRAG! (from Geboldi Studios) It has since closed and might be coming to Geboldi Europe. Bridge scene Launch scene Overall building, could you really see this in Geboldi Europe?
coasterfreak101 Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Woah! That bridge scene looks really cool! But no, I couldn't see that big black building in the beautiful Geboldi Europe LOL! And plus, isn't there a 30 feet above ground level restriction in G:E?
coasterdude5 Posted February 19, 2006 Author Posted February 19, 2006 Not anymore! I had to go and rebuild the park because you couldn't build above 30ft. even if it was underground.
coasterdude5 Posted February 25, 2006 Author Posted February 25, 2006 Here are the latest pics: Themeing is almost done on Magnas. More track for Sputnik The park's newest built attraction: a family coaster, Sputnik.
smallish Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Wow, Geboldi parks are really coming along! Â What's this new coaster's layout?
coasterfreak101 Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Looking good! I was really hoping to see the theming for Magnus soon! Can we see a inside pic of the Sputnik coasters, cause the outside looks great and the inside probably does too! Keep it up!!!
coasterdude5 Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 ^ Thanks. Yeah, I'll have an inside pic soon. It's not that great, just a spiral lift and a couple of dips. Nothing out of the ordinary.
coasterdude5 Posted February 26, 2006 Author Posted February 26, 2006 The last coaster has been announced! Â El' Monstre' Â Located deep in exotic Spain, a monster lives in the lush forests, waiting on its prey. Riders will be hoisted five stories in "flying chairs" before being plunged 6 stories into a "cobra roll". Riders will then be hurled through a zero-g roll and a mind-numbing corkscrew. This only one of two floorless coasters that can be found in Europe. Â Here's the complete list of coasters so far at the park. - Tremore' (wooden) - Magnas (invert) - Sputnik (family) - Cork de' Screw (corkscrew) - El Monstre' (Floorless) Clearing for El' Monstre' Here's the requested picture of Sputnik's layout. As I said, nothing major. El Monstre' track is already arriving!!
coasterfreak101 Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Oh! Looking good! That 2nd drop on Sputnik I would love, in the dark it would be very surprising! El Monstre' sound really cool too! A floorless with ony 4 inversions, and in the beautiful GEBOLDI Europe, will this be a terrain kind of like Nemisis? It should be lol! Â Keep up the great work John!
coasterdude5 Posted February 27, 2006 Author Posted February 27, 2006 ^Five inversions! Â - Cobra Roll (2) - Loop - Zero-G roll - Corkscrew
coasterdude5 Posted March 4, 2006 Author Posted March 4, 2006 Here are two odd rumors floating around fan sites. Â (A) Okay, Geboldi Europe is buildin' this intamin hyper WITH a 200ft. drop! They're gonna have the highest point above the ground at the top of a mountain so they still abide by the height limit! Â (B) Geboldi Europe is getting a intamin GYRO tower. The base will be at the center of a mountain or the ride will be enclosed. Â Definitely, odd, what do you think?
thenewguy Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 I have a feeling it will be B. They already have 5 exciting coasters but no drop tower. This will be interesting.
coasterdude5 Posted March 4, 2006 Author Posted March 4, 2006 Here are a couple of shots: Here's El'Monstre', here's a secret: originally, there was supposed to be an immelmen after the first drop, but due to the 55ft. restriction, it could not have been done. I'm not really happy with Corkde'Screw's station, but it will do.
DarkStitch626 Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 Very nice screens so far, but 1 question? Couldn't you have used a small half loop and a half corkscrew to make a smaller immulmen? As I said though great so far , keep this thing rolling!
