keywestcorona Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 I saw a post somewhere recently that said Cedar Fair is no longer doing business with Intamin. If you look at the giga coasters in CF chain, MF and i305 were built by Intamin first and Leviathan and Fury were built by B&M later. Is that in and of itself enough to say CF is done with Intamin? I love me some B&M, but I have a hard time buying that the company with the most iconic Intamin ride in the world is done doing business with them.
Platinum Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 What's wrong with shopping around for other suppliers? B&M is giving the people what they want, so I don't see the issue.
ArgoZ Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 It’s not like Cedar Fair has blackballed Intamin. B&M has hit the right combination of looks, capacity, intensity (not overly) and price that the company and general public currently want. Cedar Fair has finally started hiring RMC, who has Intamin ties, to built coasters. Trends come and go.
cfc Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 This has been chewed over, spat out, and chewed over again in different Cedar Fair-related threads. I see no reason to bring it up now. Thread locked, unless Robb decides to unlock it.
robbalvey Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Thread locked, unless Robb decides to unlock it. Absolutely not! We try to keep stupidity off our forums!
