Erik Johnson Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 Leanne's work place, Publix, had a United Way benefit at Skate Station today. Since neither one of us has been to Skate Station since they built the new location, we decided to check it out. Have fun! Leanne is going to play a mean trick on her co-worker tomorrow. She is going to make him think he hurt her arm really bad. God I love that girl! My dinner, what did you order Leanne? Some ducks were hungry for Taco Bell, so they used the drive-thru. This picture is for ParkTrips, check out his most recent PTR and you will see what I mean. Leanne confronted the co-worker that ran her over outside the Skate Station. Has any one seen Kill Bill? Dang it, I forgot to try out the pool. Everyone is just relaxing after that 5 minute workout. Since its October, its fun to sneak up and scare people. Check out this fool! Sheesh, I really do tower over Leanne. Leanne is a toughy, she just gets right back out in the rink after sitting for about 5 minutes. Boy my legs are ugly when I skate. Leanne made it around two laps before getting run over by a co-worker. For us old-school video game players, do you notice anything wrong with this machine? Skate time! Its an Elissa friendly photo. Please don't eat my ball Mr. Gator. Ok, now just keep it on the green stuff Leanne. Tonnerre de Erik. I hope shadows don't scare you too much. Dang it, how am I supposed to get my ball around this thing? Good one Leanne. Leanne's hits her ball, I wonder where it will go. Leanne's folks decided to join us for all this fun. We decided to do putt-putt golf first. Actually it was pretty nice. Leanne brought her nametag since its a special Publix/United Way gathering. Which means $3.00 admission for all of us. The Skate Station Gator, see you can tell I live in Gainesville, Florida already. Here we are at Skate Station. I am glad they saved a bunch of room for a parking lot.
DenDen Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 For us old-school video game players, do you notice anything wrong with this machine? Yes, it's a Ms PacMan in a PackMan cabinet. Nice TR!
SharkTums Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 The hello kitty game is awesome! I have it for GameCube!
Erik Johnson Posted October 17, 2005 Author Posted October 17, 2005 Pacman/Ms Pacman is Namco, not Midway! Actually back in the day, Namco gave Bally/Midway U.S. publishing rights to its games. Like Pac-Man, Rally X etc. It was far cheaper to give another game manufacture the rights than to import thousands of video games machines over to the U.S. Bally/Midway actually bought another game and converted it into Ms. Pac-Man and put it on the streets. To appease Namco, so Midway could continue to publish Namco games and not get sued, Midway gave the Ms. Pac-Man rights to Namco. Den Den was right, it was a Pac-Man machine that was transformed into a Ms. Pac-Man game.
Teddymonster Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 Ms. Pacman is my girl. Pacman has NOTHING on her! Nice TR, Erik. I really enjoyed the bit on Leanne's putting abilities. You're a lot more devious than I originally perceived. Right on!
Hattuchili Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 LOL, thanks for that funny photo TR, Erik. It looks like you had a lot of fun! --Sören
USRoadTripper Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 I've eaten at that Whattaburger! My mom and I got off the highway to find food and I just about passed out when I saw Whattaburger! Hadn't had one in over ten years, and the line was OUT THE DOOR when we stopped there. It was good, but not as good as I remember from the one in Corpus Christie in 1994! -Julie
FlyingScooter Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 Nice TR. I didn't know people still roller skate. (no sarcasm intended). Everytime the kids and I go, everyone's rollerblading. I skated for like, 25 yrs before i took up blading and have never lookeed back. Great pics!
